It was a reply to a post comparing reseeding the CWS to reseeding the Elite 8. Apples and oranges. One would be a logistical impossibility. One would be no issue whatsoever.

I will not but thanks for asking. Seeding has been this way. Why cant people enjoy. I’m excited playing ark to open our college World Series run. Also, our rotation would be rested and set.

I swear the amount of LSU fans who are afraid of competition is mind boggling. First it's against Clemson in football. Now some are afraid bc they have to play Arkansas in the first game. To be the best you have to beat the best.

I thought about this also, so glad to see this post. It's a very good idea to re-seed the teams after the super regional round.
I wish the NCAA would have started doing this many years ago.

And, it is to our advantage to play our toughest opponent in game one with all our arms fresh. You are going to argue but all of their arms are fresh but Anderson and Eyanson will lead us to the top of the podium or we probably won’t get to it

The Elite 8 isn't played at a common venue. There's no logistical reason not to re-seed the CWS.

Seed them better to begin with. Maybe the committee needs another committee. A group that really knows baseball should do the original and only seedings. No reseeding.

No, all teams were originally seeded and the pairing brackets are pre set based on that. Hence, if the top eight national seeds all made it to Omaha it would be 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5. Arkansas vs. LSU is 3v6. None of the other seedings panned out but the teams winning their way into Omaha earned their seeds.
