Wanhanen, Skoug, Steinhagen due up in the top of the 9th

I was being facetious. Just trying to make a point that win or lose here and this tournament isn't over.

Why can't TCU's pitcher mortar one over 1B?

I'll keep on bringing him up. Mike martin has coached at FSU since 1980, he has never missed the post season, he has made it to Omaha 14 times, and the field is named after him, but he has NEVER won it all. Mike martin is arguably the best active coach in the NCAA. But I bet the rant would be calling for his head, simply because he didn't win it all.
I went to grad school at FSU 1998-2000 after graduating from LSU, and lived there in 97 before starting school. I was there when they finally made it to the title game. I can assure you that those fans may like the guy, but they have no expectations of winning titles with him. I heard that from plenty of them after they lost that game to Miami. Everyone I knew down there followed the team, and they were crushed after that loss, because they all just figured that was it. That was his shot.
If you guys are cool with that, enjoy piling up conference titles and COTY awards. PM isn't winning another title unless he changes the way he handles the team in the postseason. I sincerely wish he would, because he is very good in plenty of areas. However, his pitcher management and batting philosophy in TD Ameritrade aren't going to work. He's taken two teams built to win titles to Omaha in 3 years, 0-2 with a 3rd loss very likely.

Not being bitter at all but I actually don't mind Laird leaving. I wish Chinea would stay, but there are reports no one wants to be the only senior on the team. To me that is absolutely silly

LSU's batters need to learn that TCU pitchers won't pull a Poche

Lets hope they can make a statement next game

Should've been pulled while the score was 2-1. It's literally not debatable
Definitely THIS
Besides the fielding errors (that were in his head) his pitches deteriorated rapidly
I see it differently. The yips throwing to first led to his deterioration on the mound. He lost his bulldog mentality and lost his edge. He had to keep the ball down and wasn't able to do that any longer.

bullshite.
You are a victim of our success under Bertman.
I have news for you that you won't like. The wins under Bertman were easier to come by. And, Bertman was one of the greatest.
Comparing anyone to Bertman is stupid. Comparing the game now to the game then is also stupid. You don't realize that. Thus, you are complaining about how you can't expect to win a championship as if you think that's a meaningful point.

PM please don't throw Poche under the dugout, even though he did throw under the dugout.

So going to the CWS isn't competing for a title?
Not when you're getting your brains kicked in for an opening-game loss. This game hasn't been competitive. And LSU's offense has been asleep for a month now.

you're right.... however, it becomes exponentially harder to win it, coming out of the losers bracket....
to have ANY chance at all on Tuesday, our team better figure out how to produce runs.... we really haven't done that too well this postseason...

Has to be the draft that pulled this team into being completely being checked out. Only thing I can think of.
