Didn't bama foul up some kick-offs in the Michigan State game... pooch kicks and kick out of bounds.

BDP is responsible for a ton of LSU fan face-palms.

Seems to be a recruitment workhorse.

I don't understand how we got so bad

He was the ST CO from 2005-2007 and we were this bad then.

Another thing, Why can't we jsut make him "inside linebackers" coach or some shite like that and let another assistant run ST.

No they weren't. We just played crappy teams. A&M is a joke and Tech doesn't have nearly the athletes we do.

He wasn't in charge of ST for A&M and I assume he wasn't for the bowl game either

Seriously? I did not know that. Link?

The human thumb is a pretty good recruiter, believe it or not.

Watch this video.

Wilson, O, Raymond, and probably Grimes are better, but he's not bad.

He actually coached LBs/ST

ST can be more of a focus with ARANDA directing the LBs.

This x1000.

Problems will happen when you ask a coach to split time between ST and a position group.
It was more on Miles for asking a coach to do this. It rarely works out.

Special teams was mediocre and got worse last season once BDP came back and then fell off a cliff this season. He's simply not that good at coaching it outside of fake field goals. Our punting continually underperformed under him and consistency is a major issue.

We signed a kicker purely for his ability to kickoff, yet BDP doesn't play him half the time, and when he does, the supposed stud can't even get the ball into the endzone from the 35.

There are serious issues with the coaching on special teams and it started with his return to the staff.

His main huge recruit bailed already and is headed to UF. I really don't care that the areas he's assigned happen to have big names. They aren't coming to LSU because he recruited them.

Actually got 2 delay of game penalties on kick-off teams this past year. But like I've been telling you people for quite some time now, dude can recruit. The kids love him and their moms love him. Maybe he swaps recipes with the moms, I don't know, but whatever he does works. Why would the best overall recruiting site have him coming in at #2 if this wasn't true. Also he coached LBs this year and they played dam good. Les is the one calling for the pooch kicks, and if you don't think that then your kidding yourself.

Peveto isn't on the field shanking punts. This was the main issue on ST in my opinion. The other was coverage, which got better as the season progressed. You shouldn't fire someone for one rough and challenging year, especially if he recruits his tail off.

He is the primary on Rhassan Thorton, Erick Fowler, Eric Monroe, Cameron Lewis, and Connor Culp

Dry rub pork. Les tells me they have a want.

Peveto must go. If he doesn't, we will have the worst ST in the FBS. Plus it will cost us ~2 games.

OK, if he's good recruiter, let him recruit and stay away from coaching - seems as though thre strikes and you're out!

only defense he has is that we can't kick the damn ball far enough. He needs to use his LB recruiting skills to get a damn long kicker. How hard can that be in this day and age?
