If lsu plays tomorrow I think we are good with Lange. If we get rained out again then he would have to pitch on Monday.

NCAA could push our super to Saturday start. Have poche pitch game 1 and Lange game 2. Poche would have 7 days rest, Lange 5 days.

The melt on here would just be amazing if this happens and they picked Rice for some reason

If the LSU vs Rice game is played and then it rains until Thursday, would the winner of that game advance?

This stuff clears out by tomorrow at the latest, supposed to be good weather the rest of the week.

There's no precedent for it, but apparently the selection committee would decide who advances. I can't imagine they wouldn't pick a team that went 2-0.

Didn't that happen already this year? Maybe in a conference basketball tournament? They didn't get to play some games and the conference selected the winner? I'm probably misremembering the details, but there was some kind of minor controversy a couple of months ago over this.

This is a must win. Either way, seems like a good chance it's going until Tuesday
