Well, duh. I thought he said "praying," was he specific?

Ok… A persons faith in Christ is not based on what music you listen to. He just likes the song because it glorifies God and it’s personal to him because he is a Christian.

I mean, there are those out there that will hate him solely based on his faith, or…how he professes it.

That hatred can be (has been) acted upon.

He knows that he is (somewhat) high profile, and as such, could be targeted.

Good on him for not cowering.

Can anyone give an example of a college baseball player in the south being given even the least amount of friction due to their faith?

The guys not being persecuted, literally at all. And I don’t think there is a single example out there that’s relevant without major extrapolation.

30 downvotes are a disgrace and is what’s wrong with America. Liberals are ruining this country and Russia, Cuba and others love to see it.

That's cool and all but there are way better options than Kanye right now.

Song is terrible. The phone light thing is embarrassing as a fanbase.

The fact that you had to ask this tells me all I need to know. I always see your posts and the multitudes of down votes and wonder why 95% of the board hates you. I get it now.

If you don’t think it’s courageous for an 18 year old to stand on a faith every opportunity he gets in this anti-Christian world we live in, then you are a part of the world or just obtuse.

It’s courageous to you. You’re Christian because you were told to be Christian. If you grew up in India you’d be a Hindu, if you grew up in Saudi Arabia you’d be Muslim. You wouldn’t look at this as a positive if you had grown up brainwashed by a different religion.

Even so, it’s not courageous to say you’re Christian in front of a bunch of fellow brainwashed Christians who are ALSO only Christians because it was beaten over their heads.

It’d be more courageous to say you’re an atheist and risk getting boo’ed by religiously brainwashed people in this thread that honestly think any of it matters.

Being religious and being a Christian aren't the same

Religious leaders crucified Jesus

This shows you know nothing about what Kayne has done/ is about the past few years. Or what the typical disciple was like either.

Baseball…No.

Things are not what they once were.

I mean, while much higher in profile, Tebow most certainly caught some flack.

However, the country wasn’t nearly as fractured back then.

Not as many people had “platforms” back then.

Additionally, there seems to be a LOT more “active” nut jobs amongst the lunatic fringe.

The modern landscape is not the same as what you are presenting via historical context.

Just my .02.

Christianity is the only religion in this country it’s okay to openly mock and shite all over. Pendulum is swinging with the younger generation, and good thing.
