Doucet reports Culotta saying that Divinity will not return prior to a national championship appearance.

I'm not sure how this makes much sense. Doesn't fit with prior precedent; doesn't fit with current schedule of suspensions for various punishable offenses; doesn't really fit with anything that O or others have said about his absence. Just seems like more conjecture.

Shame that there isn't a straight answer on the situation -- one that doesn't invade the kid's privacy, but that at least confirms his potential availability only.

Maybe he can pull a RJF and turn up starting in Atlanta.

Culotta claims a lot of things. Like the Joe Brady contract, etc.

I like the dude. But, I'll need more than "Culotta claims..."

Right or wrong the story is he got a 6 game suspension prior to Bama. So rest of the regular season, sec champ game, and first round of the playoff would be time served. Beating bama added two games to our season, so “the door remained open”.

Does Woodward have an argument that according to the CFP is not a NCAA sanctioned event and he should be able to play in the 1st round of the playoffs?

Makes jo sense to me to come back just in case the team makes it to the championship game for a chance to possibly play in it.

That may have been the original situation but there has to be a chang efor him to come back.

Why wouldn't he just prep for a chance at the combine or pro day instead of dealing with all that.

Ironically they want him there for maturity but he cannot play because of his immaturity

Supposedly that is

I agree, but saying he is available to play would not have any effect on his privacy.

It’s a school sanctioned suspension. He isn’t undermining that, in fact he prob had a say in it

While I think he's right, I'm pretty he sure he just read it on the rant and reported a "scoop" like half of the beat reporters.

We'd be playing the #1 or #4 scoring Offense. But yeah sure, who care? Not worth it at all.

Or maybe he was just going through some personal issues and wants to be back on the field with his brothers contributing in any way he can.

No point for who?

LSU? We need all the help we can get to win a natty.

Divinity? A chance to play for a NC with your team, your family, for your school? And yes, lift your draft stock if you play well on the national stage.
