When I hear Russ Mitchell come on Scone’s show I can’t change the channel fast enough. Scone man can be tolerable in some segments but he tries to out-tool Russ Mitchell and it ends up being terrible, terrible radio.

I don’t mind his opinions but his personality can be a bit irritating. And his persistence on subjects comes off poorly and wasting air time. He has been gloating about calling McMillan leaving 4 months ago. Like no shite dude that wasn’t that hard of a call you don’t need to put yourself on the back for 5 minutes per show.
I think he is a great interviewer though.

Exactly. He's constantly running bits into the ground and worried way too much about proving when he's right. I mean, isn't that his job? I can be pretty juvenile, but be really takes it too far even for me sometimes, especially with Theriot. I can't listen on Fridays.
