I called direct tv just to complain about cst not being available. Just to try and voice that there really are a whole lot of people that are pissed because we can't watch the games. The representative I talked to said he had never received a call requesting cst before. That may be true but there is plenty of proof that this has been going on a few years. Not sure if it would help at all but if you have direct tv and want cst call them and raise hell. 1-800-347-3288. They only understand $. Threaten to change to dish.

If you really think DirectTV cares about losing 10 customers to Dish on account of LSU baseball, you are greatly mistaken.

It's not even worth it, man. Dish is better.

LSU is supposed to be dropping cox anyways

It's a bad contract polarizing a lot of the fanbase. 30 million folks subscribe to DTV.

Truth.

I am sure if DirectTV doesn't carry CST, there is a good logical reason.

And Cox just sucks to begin with. I wouldn't be surprised if Cox Communications doesn't even exist in 10 years. People in Baton Rouge are jumping ship to U-verse, Dish, etc. in a BIG way. The guy who installed my U-verse said they can't even keep up with the requests.

Switched to Dish a couple of years ago because of this, happier with Dish even if they didn't have cox.

I would rather pay the $40 to LSUsports.net for baseball season than have my DirecTv bill go up again. Luckily, they haven't picked up the Longhorn network and whoever the hell the Astros and Rockets went to.

They have commercials now crying for people to call you cable provider to request LHN and more commercials crying to call for the Rockets and Astrose. F them, I pay too much now for satellite service.

Every time I go to the in laws and a thunderstorm is in the area, the dish goes out. I see no reason to ever use either of their services.

Ive had DTV for 5 years and i think it's gone completely out once. I lose HD for very short stints in really bad thunderstorms but that's it. Will never go back to cable, also had Dish in college and wont ever go back to it.

1) Cox isn't going anywhere. They are one of LSU Athletics 11 huge corporate partners.

2) WTF do you mean by "polarizing a fan base"?

Yeah, CURRENTLY. Things can change quickly and there's rumblings about LSU going in a different direction as early as next year.

I thought I explained that pretty well by saying DTV has 30 million subscribers and not a single 1 gets CST. That's polarizing a good bit of the fanbase who has DTV. It'd be way better to be on an FSN channel which is more widely available.

A lot of people have satellite everywhere in the country now. People have jumped ship from cable companies. DTV has 30 million subscribers, the largest cable company, Comcast, has 22 million. Dish has 14 million.
