watch the game and look at Miles walking the sidelines with the play calling sheet...he has had it in his hands in almost all the games...not a defensive card but the offensive play calling sheet...go back and watch the games..yup Crowton calls the plays, however they are filtered through CLM and its HIS game plan.

im not saying Crowton doesnt need to be replaced. I do think he is gone...but i think its his decision as much as Miles..but whoever we get, unless CLM backs off and lets them coach...its going to be the same ole thing..

Oh, OK.I see. He has a clipboard. You're right, Crowton does call the plays and they are filtered through Les. Which is why they both need to go. They DO have a game plan. I'd wipe my arse with it.

yup...actually if ya let Miles do anything they should fire Stud and let miles coach the OL...but if CLM doesnt let the new OC coach...things wont change...

I actually think this is a good idea. Kind of like the Hornets hiring the GM as the coach.

Les has brought in these players, he thinks he can win with them and is going to have blamed his coordinators two years in a row (if Crowton were to get fired). So, put all the pressure on Miles. It's his guys, it's his team. Hold him responsible and if they don't produce with him calling the shots, let him go.

Miles has not been calling the plays.

if Miles has indeed NOT involved in any play calling,

I would be even angrier, as it would mean that he is looking at what's going on and ignoring his responsibilities as a HC and to LSU.

.....it would really then be obvious to me that he is not very concerned which would give me even more reason to worry

I think les was told to get out of the playcalling and look what we ended up with. Do you honestly believe with first and ten inside field goal range les would call/approve straight passing plays? yeah the TO and fg confusion cost us the game but Crowton is the ultimate cause for the game calling those idiotic pass plays after the lafell screen last week.

ETA: I think les actually is a pretty balanced competent offensive mind (I strongly question his time management skills) Look at 2006 after the auburn debacle he makes Todd Monken passing game coordinator and the offense takes off. He was at OSU when they had a great passing game (im blanking on their recievers name when he was there and beat OU)

BTW Im off the les wagon. I think he is a great man and I have respect for him but I think he needs to go. Even if he was vince lombardi last week is not excuseable and that is the kind of mistake that hangs over a coach and program and fresh air is needed.

How would it be if Miles became Offensive Coordinator, Quarterback Coach, and Head Coach all at the same time?

When is the last time that Miles had any play calling responsibilities?

3rd and 30 after four consecutive delay of game penalties.
