a lack of QB development was his demise regardless of what plays he did or did not call

And that philosophy has won a lot of games. Just be prepared to keep taking your heart meds, Tiger fans.

I watched the ohio state game yesterday.
It disagrees as well as the announcers calling it.

So in '07, his first year, the offense was Crowton. but last year, or when it was crappy, it was Miles'

thiis is completely logical and makes total sense

Is this why JJ was playing, to keep it close?

Yeah, the 2001 offense at BYU is him.

Not the 2002 offense at BYU.

Not the 2003 offense at BYU.

Not the 2004 offense at BYU.

He's a jackass and has a lot of nerve. I guess the head coach reined him in after that first year. Oh wait...

Eff him. Prepare for another good first year at Maryland, major suckage, and him blaming Edsall.

Maryland will have a real good offense this year and then each year after it will get worse.

he and miles were just not compatible philosophically. it was crowtons job to adjust, and he did a poor job.

of course, miles might have stuck him with jefferson as well.

we could have put up better numbers with lee. that doesn't mean necessarily we would have won more.

Hey guys...remember that time the offense was awesome?? yea..that was all me. I'll take that credit. But remember all those other years at all those schools when my offense sucked? that was someone elses fault

We run all the short passing routes in the first half. We fool them in the 4th then occasionally throw deep. Don't worry, the other teams won't figure this out and crowd the box in the first half.

So they didn't really run his offense the other three years at BYU when he was the HC?

What about his years at Oregon? Was he overridden there as well?

no matter what, the head coach has final say on what his team does, so crowton could be right, maybe its les miles that needs to be question on how the offense was ran!

I seem to remember Crowton pulling the same shite somewhere in the Northwest...

Look at the offense when miles came to LSU when Fisher was the OC and look at the offense when Crowton was here under Miles. Two completely different OC'S and styles yet the offense was almost exactly the same. The only thing that was the same was Miles. I really don't see any difference this year unless Miles keeps his arse out of the play calling. If he don't you can expect to see the same old shite.
