He’ll get a shot at the end of the season.
Get him primed for 2025.

With the Nationals poor record, we will probably not see him till the roster expansion. If they were in contention, he might already be up, like they did with Skenes

They don't do the same kind of roster expansion they used it. Now it just goes from 26 players to 28 players. They don't open the whole 40 man in September anymore.
I think he may get called up, but it will be more likely because the Nats traded Lane Thomas to someone needing another bat and not because a couple extra spots opened up.

Langford from Florida has hit 5 in MLB this year. Just saying.

Hope he is a Sept call up
Nationals are playing for nothing and it does not count as a year of service
Why not Nats??

Seeing MLB pitching for a month would be nothing but goodness as he looks to hit the scene in 2025.

No, why?
It makes more sense to wait until September. Then keep him rookie eligible for next year. Then let him earn a spot on an opening day roster.
Then watch him become the first player to get his dick embronzed out of respect for his game as he becomes a Hall of Famer.

Sound like he's taking a shot at Crews who got drafted higher than Langford but Langford is developing faster. At least I think that's what he's trying to do which is kinda ignorant.

Langford has been in the majors all season and has 284 ABs. Crews has been in AAA for a month or so and has just over 100 ABs. Just saying.

Yeah, I was gonna say they changed the roster rules a few years ago. It’s not like it used to be when there were a ton of call ups. I didn’t know how much it expanded, but 2 spots sounds right.
I just follow the Braves, but since they’ve been in the playoffs every year I think this rule has been in effect, I think they usually bring up a guy who primarily pinch runs and almost never hits and maybe an innings eater to save some arms. But I don’t think they’ve ever brought up actual prospects in September to continue their development since the rule change.
They brought up guys who had different skill sets than their main guys who could maybe help them win a game or 2 or save arms for the playoffs. Not sure what a team who is completely out of it like the Nationals’ strategy would be in determining who they call up.
