We missed the Supers in 2010, missed post season in 2011 completely, lost to Stony Brook at home in 2012
this was a terrible stretch. 2010 we collapsed, 2011 we sucked big time until the end of the year. 2012 we were much better but then we got raped at home by stony brook only to have our own fans turn on us.

Did you even watch Nola last year ? He went over 100 pitches in complete games regularly .. You do realize he didn't just pitch for LSU over the last 9 months . right ?

I'll give you South Carolina, UCLA, and Arizona because they've won the ship since LSU has. 3 teams. Who else?

Nola's a competitor .. He wanted a no hitter .. How often do our starters take no nos into the 8th ?

That's probably a call a coach should let his veteran player make. That said, dude's arm is made of rubber. Another inning or two isn't going to kill this kid's season people... C'mon man!

Just got home. You aren't trolling. And you aren't far off base although I disagree on some points. Nola took the summer off. He's getting back into it somewhat. Looked great and probably could have kept going without issue. By comparison, Rodon threw 96 in 6 innings in his first start. He's going top 3 in the draft and that was an intensive first start.

Also, it's easy to doubt any pitcher makes it to the majors. 300 are drafted every year. Guys can go into their mid 30s and there are only 150 or so starters. Coleman is closest but he's with the royals so that isn't saying much. Ranaudo and Gausman are knocking on the door but aren't even close to being "career" guys yet.

Finally, about the program. I would say we are better off now than we were pre 2009. We were bad in 2007 and I would love to forget some of the Smoke years. But remember we got the shaft in 2010, barely made the tourny in 2011, super in 2012, CWS last year. I'll take that trend over what happened before PM.

Of course he is... of course he did... not very. Especially in their SECOND START OF THE SEASON.

I guarantee you he knows CPM made the right decision. And Rag, you are too smart to think otherwise.

We collapsed at the end of 2010 in the SEC, barely made the tourney, then needed to win it to get a 2 seed on the road ..

2010 we got shipped to ucla, we wouldn't have been shafted if we didn't shite the bed to end the year. 2011 we were bad until the end of the season and missed the post season
