then where else would you recommend building stamina?

3rd or 4th week of SEC play?

I laugh at the risking injury posts. Take him out because he's on a set count and on a schedule to increase his pitch count week by week. Not because you're scared he might get hurt.

Well these kind of go hand in hand. One of the reasons he is on a pitch count early in the season is to reduce the risk of injury, no?

You sound pretty unhappy in this current moment.

Even more unhappy than Nola is, I imagine.

Easy for you to say when you don't have millions potentially on the line.

It's to keep the guys fresh in May.

Guys like Nola are ready to go on day 1 of the season.

Clay Dirks always disappeared in late May. Dude had no late season stamina.

Pitch counts have been proven useless, grandpa.

The number of times you sit down and cool off between innings then go out there again is more important.

What are you laughing at ? We missed the Supers in 2010, missed post season in 2011 completely, lost to Stony Brook at home in 2012, and went miserably 0-2 in Omaha last year after incredible 2008 and 2009 back to back seasons .. So, we're on the rise in your book ?

Lol cool off ? That has nothing to do with it . If pitch counts don't matter , why did he get pulled ? Oh wait you should be the baseball coach at LSU . Dumb arse

Came out a little rusty last Friday considering he walked 3. He had 18 all of last year (that's 1/6 if you don't math).

So why not rest him in the beginning of the season to have him fresh when it counts?

Thanks for proving my point.

So which programs aren't stagnating at the moment? You know only one team wins the championship, right?

LSU has stagnated by LSU standards .. A decent number of programs have done cumulatively better than us the last 4 years ..

Where was I wrong? I said Nola should be taken out.

And reply to the right person.
