Overall LSU has 24 wins. The worst team in the conference has 23.

No but Kentucky has more SEC wins than Alabama, who has 23 wins. Try to keep up, skippy.

Hmm. News to me. Guess they’re not both 4-11.

I watch bad baseball and can identify it. Can you?

what does that have to do with injuries? (i.e. what this entire conversation is about)

I think you could put Cabrerra back on that list,he looked very uncomfortable at the plate all weekend! 2-13 in the series with 8 K's is VERY unCabrerra like! That wrist has to still be bothering him.

LSU is literally only a game out of 1st place in the west and overall in the sec.

They are tied for 3rd in the west With series wins over the the teams currently in 1st and 2nd in the west and haven’t played the other two teams they are currently tied with. You read this board and you would think they are in dead last place.

His name is Cabrera. And his wrist is fine. He’s just coming back from a procedure. You don’t just jump back in and hit doubles. He will be fine.

You can tell the people that don’t watch any baseball but LSU baseball. Hitting is all about timing any time away even just for a week or so that he was out can throw that timing off just a little bit and it takes a couple games to get it back.

I didn’t get to see any of the games this weekend... can someone tell me how the field caused these injuries? Missouri plays over half of their games on the same field... how many of their players are injured? Again, didn’t see any of the games but it sure sounds like we are making excuses here. I’ll hang up and listen.

Hess cleat got stuck in the turf mound which caused his injury. That is no ones “fault” at LSU.

That turf field is a disaster. I think that played a role in these injuries.

They had a pitcher get injured the same way as Hess last week and had a player get injured with his foot catching the turf sliding into second this weekend. Anything else you’d like to know about the series since you didn’t watch but still feel compelled to claim “excuses” are being made?

Already discussed in this thread.

Instead of asking everyone to just hand you the information you want, why not read through the thread to which you are responding. Maybe then you won't look like an a-hole that's proud to be fricking ignorant.

Seems like a recurring issue from the SEC Tourney & Regionals last year? Pawl still having them stretch with a medicine ball and rubbing liniment on it?

I’ve never seen one team have so many players hurt. No this is way past the point of “it’s baseball” you would think we are playing football out there.

A couple of years ago Miss State had like 7 pitchers shelved for the season due to arm injuries.
