And a counter argument to that would be that multiple other players have more starts at 3B than him and none of them have more errors.
You don't need to make a counter. He was awful at 3B.

Because it's a direct quote it can't be taken out of context? Cutting a 2 minute interview into a 23 second clip is rule #1 for getting people to tale things out context.
Maybe you're right and it was all just shitting on Deichmann. But I don't remember it sounding like that when I was listening to the postgame on the radio.
I see now that this was not from the postgame radio call. He says basically the exact same thing.

And he's not that good at 1B. His fundamentals are not good at all. It's because of them that he came off the bag. Bryce is better at the position. It's stupid to have him DH instead of Greg when they're both in the lineup.

You realize what he says to Bill in the champions club is different than what he says to the media on the field post game?

I thought that's what we were talking about.

What's hilarious is that I just complained about that last summer on FB. You're one of those types I see. You know who I'm talking about. The types that even if you doubled their intellect would still be a half wit?
Keep this up though bro. This is going great for you so far...

Overall, this team is young, inconsistent, and just not playing championship ball. I've got zero issues with the man challenging the players. Publicly or private. I don't believe in masking anything. You want to get better? Bring it to light, any kind of light.

I though we were talking about the post game on the radio because he basically says the same thing. He just follows it up.
Champions Club interview.
"We just didn't make a lot of good hard contact... Not really sure why Greg came off the base for the ball, it was a perfect throw... When you get into these games against these caliber teams, you know, I hate to say you have to play perfect. But these games so often come down to one play, one pitch, one at bat... All it takes is one little mistake and we can end up on the wrong end of a score."

To call out one play and not acknowledge an entire game of underwhelming offense is a bit disingenuous. We weren't doing much of anything last night, regardless of that one play.

If PM really believes this and actually thinks Greg's play was the key play that lost the game, he's worse than I thought.

No problem with what he said. It is what it is and does not come across as blaming a loss on a kid. Did they scor after that or was the result of an mental error. Keep the foot on the bag end the inning with no other runs scored we win. Period

This can't be brought up enough, IMO. It's a legit question that should be asked of CPM.

Actually, that's exactly what it comes across as.

It would have still made it a 1-1 game.

Is there a video of said routine play?
Posted on 4/24/16 at 12:15 pm to TickledTiger
As previously stated he called him out TWICE once in 2 different interviews, the second time he did it by name.
If you are a true college baseball then there is no debate on whether this is acceptable or not.
