Not this year. Whereas I could see Florida winning Saturday by 10+ and South Carolina winning in Baton Rouge, it wouldn't surprise me if the Alabama game is the one big game where our guys are ready and even win by 14.

playing flat and making mistakes will = losses.

Pretty much true on any given Saturday in the SEC. I still don't understand why anyone expects it to be any different for this LSU team.

How is this even news worthy? I actually thought that he might give LSU a chance or even come out and predict a Tiger win to surprise us just to earn some attention. Instead he just says what most of us (sane) fans think and all of the media talking heads say. Big deal.

He also said Bama lost another RB and that they are not great at running the ball.

That is the ugly truth.. We will see Sat. IF they wake up and play ball, we are good. IF they do not, it will be a long season.

Good thing the season ends in September....

Cowherd will always be higher on USC and Bama than any other teams. He's that way every year.

At this point we shouldn't care. The media has been crapping on LSU for weeks now. It happened a few years ago, it's happening again. The Bama game is 5 weeks away. Alot can happen before then and we got other crap to worry about before then.

The thing everyone knows right now is LSU has the talent to accomplish what we expected them to before the season, we just haven't played well. It's different stuff every week. Injuries have hurt us more than we expected, and turnovers and penalties are killing momentum. That said, we still have a outstanding defense that will keep us in every game. We have an offense that has the tools to be good, they just havent' put it all together yet. If LSU can stop making their job harder on offense by turning it over and putting themselves behind the chains with penalties, we will see more success.

That said, watching the rest of the top 10 play the past 2 weekends, noone in the country is head and shoulders ahead of us.

Yup, they will destroy us just like in 2008 when we had our worst team in a decade and bama came rolling in as #1 and walked right over us

Dee Hart and starting WR DeAndrew White are gone for the year with torn ACL.

Colin Cowpile also thinks the Vegas line moves based on his predictions. Who cares what he thinks?

FWIW, Colin picked LSU to win in Tuscaloosa last year.
