Cowherd, quit on the Steelers

What they said about guardrails and structure was correct.
Move the calendar back. Back to Feb for signings and May for portal.
Institute tampering rules as well. No tampering with players or coaches during season or playoffs.

He retired and left them in great shape....in so much great shape that lame arse Tomlin won a Super Bowl with Cowhers players. Cowher didnt try and sabotage the Steelers like Kiffin is doing to Ole Miss.

This is BS. What he said couldn't happen (Lane coaching the rest of the season) is happening at Tulane.
And, as long as the hiring cycle stays as it is now, will happen more in the future.

Don’t be mad at Kiffin. Be mad at early signing day, unlimited and anytime transfers, and no off-season

He lost me whenever he said "what about players he's coached for 4 years". He's obviously not in touch with the current college landscape or ole miss roster.

big difference, bstacey...Ole Miss and LSU are in the same conference....Tulane and Florida....not so much.

The dumbest thing he said was that those kids had been there for four years.

So Ole Miss AD being a child about the whole thing and basically giving ultimatums to the coaching staff is Kiffin being childish?

Why not let them coach Ole Miss through the playoffs and then hire them after the season is done unless its all about you and you're an angry little bitch arse because they wouldn't let you stay as head coach during the playoffs.
LOL, he isn't angry they wont let him coach the playoffs. He knew there was no way in hell Ole Miss would let him coach after resigning. He has $12M and likely numerous bonuses riding on next years performance and is more than willing to cut ties with Ole Miss immediately.

And that speaks volumes about he doesn't care about those Ole Miss players.
It doenst speak anything. He is starting a new job which is solely dependent on the talent he assembles. You actually think it would be a good idea for him to frick over his new employer by delaying staff hires with early signing three days away? Or that Ole Miss would be cool having those hires recruiting for LSU while coaching Ole Miss?
The entire process is an NCAA induced shite show. They initiate an early signing day period and portal signing period before the conclusion of the season causing teams who lose/fire coaches to scramble to get one hired asap. Kiffin and LSU are a product of that system, and Ole Miss a victim. Its pretty much a given that same system will frick over LSU in some way in our lifetime.

Common theme - they're all in a conference unlike you pussies.
Play more service academies.

but why try and sabotage the program that has been so good to you for 6 years? Why try and force the assistants to leave just because your feelings are hurt they didnt let you coach the playoffs?
You seem to have a great handle on the situation

Is he wrong?
Yes. He is blaming a product of a flawed system instead of the system itself.
And he is doing it on behalf of CBS' clickbait department.

Yes, these are the easy fixes to the problem. If they want an early signing period, do it in August. Either way, you remove the need to get coaches installed before the season is over and you punish those who are tempted to try to do so anyway.
