Aranda's defenses never sniffed how dominant Pelini's were in his time here.

Why should fans worry about how much Bo will be making?
If he gets that defense close to what he had it from 05 to 07 he will be worth every penny.

Aranda only got that much b/c he played the game and O knew he didn't want any turnover with the potential he had this year to win 15 games.

His official stats as a DC were not great, good, but not great considering the talent we had

Like why pay him Arranda money? He was coming from Youngstown state where he had been forgotten about. He was on no ones radar... would he have done less if we paid less? We could have offered incentives and bonuses but how was 2.5 mil necessary?

2.3, but not to pole vault over mouse turds.

Also, how IGNORANT are you about Pelini? He was AWESOME as LSU's DC when he was here before, was a damn good coach at Nebraska.

You will see an aggressive, attacking LSU D this coming year. You must not be old enough to remember how good he was.

LSU doesn't really have a budget in the sense of them trying to save money when it comes to hires especially for football. Whether they're $54million in the black or $52mill in the black come January doesn't matter to them as long as they're still in the black when all sports are accounted for.

Like, what difference does it make to you? Like, do you think you'd get the difference or something?

I like the hire in general, but I expected him to be more in the 1.5 million range. Won't be losing sleep, but it would be interesting to hear the rationale behind it.
And for as much shite as we give TA$M about overpaying for Jumbo, I see a lot of really defensive motherfrickers out there. Good to know that we're only concerned with other programs money, and don't give a shite about our own.

I am more concerned with Corey Raymond’s pay. He needs a little more in my opinion.
