Could OBJ and Jarvis have been as good as JJ and Chase with Burrow?

On the same team together in the same year.

I was just thinking about how dominate JJ and Chase were, which got me wondering about WR duos who might be able to approach their dominance. It's pretty amazing that LSU has had another duo who, with the right QB, could have been just as elite as JJ and Chase.

I think one could plug OBJ and Landry into the 2019 WR room, and they would come close to the numbers from JJ and Chase.

burrow isn’t gonna make Jarvis into Chase or Jefferson.

And I say This as a huge Jarvis Landry fan.

Not a chance. Eventually OBJs ego would get too Big, and as much as I like Jarvis he is a slot guy/ possession guy and no where near the talent as those three overall.

To add separately, Jefferson is on another planet right now and is the guy in the NFL others are watching. Fun to watch.

If Jarvis was a bit faster, yes. But as great as Jarvis was, Chase was better, OBJ and Jetts is close to a draw, But even there, Jetts is not a head case.

Jarvis isn't on that level.

Naw it's OBJ-Chase as the explosive alpha and Landry-JJ as the slot machine.

Chase > OBJ

JJ >>>>>>>>>> Jarvis

Jarvis is closer to Marshall than JJ

No.

Jarvis didn't have the athleticism of those two.

Odell didn't have the hands. I know the catch. But he had some huge drops at lsu.

Jamar chase is the best WR we've ever had

Justin Jefferson was the most polished WE we've ever had

Odell was maybe the most "freak" athlete

Jarvis had the best hands but didn't have close
To the athleticism of the other 3

1. Jamar
2a. Justin
2b. Jarvis
4. Odell

Mett and the offense were fine that year
It’s the defense that let lsu down and miles play calling but that was probably the most explosive offense miles had

They would absolutely put up similar stats in the 2019 offense with Burrow.

Jarvis had 1200 yds and 10 TDs his junior year.

It's kinda funny to see people forget how great OBJ and Landry where that year.. Landry Probably wasn't the burner that the other three are but He had plenty of speed in college.. OBJ was as great of a offensive weapon we had seen in a lil minute.. Yeah we had Randle the year before but 3 was dynamic...explosive

One of the best catches ever imo.

Some of you are forgetting what OBJ did his first three years in the league. I'm not saying who will have a better career but go back and look at his stats. They match up nicely to what Jetts has done in his first 3 years and what Chase has done in his first two years. With one less game as well
