Yeah, we wouldn't be laughed at on national TV doing that at all....

Sell beer, improve wifi and concessions, new TVs showing other games in the concourses, and let people leave and come back after halftime.

That will help a ton I think. They can't fix traffic.

Give incentive for the use of buses:

Find a parking space outside of the "congested area" (often a church that is not used on Saturday) and provide points, etc to use the bus to get to campus. Have chartered buses (A/C, TVs tuned to other games, etc) that make the rounds back and forth.

If 40 people use on bus, that is about 20 cars off of the grid. Multiply as needed.

As you are "stuck" on the bus...you can have a good time watching other games, laughing with fellow passengers, etc.

Where I live, this is a method used to get to several events that would overwhelm capacity of the infrastructure. Once you do it a few times, it actually becomes pleasant.

Also, "charge" for non-filled cars. Say: 4 per car is free. Less than four costs you to get on campus to park. People can "uber" themselves by carpooling with friends.

I think if Bars/Clubs closed at 4am it would help with attendance

Scan student tickets for those leaving early on the way out to ding the points they get for attending games.

Can do the same thing with season ticket holder TAF status

Hum... what does it say about my station in life when I'd have to give serious thought as to whether I'd prefer beer at the game or free Chick-fil-A?

Some schools use giveaways that you must be present to win.

Please explain how you think a larger roadway with less stops leading miles away from the stadium won't help traffic?

It's not complicated. Also wifi and other games is stupid. You're at Death Valley and you want to play on your phone or go watch someone else on TV?

I've never left early because of another game I wanted to watch but I used to leave early so I could get home before 2 am.

Despite drowning in downvotes most of these answers have been very good, so thanks for that.

. But if they could somehow give away remaining free personal pizzas to fans who stay till the end. I have raided the surplus at Bayou Fest and gave away about 30 of them in our section(i knew the employees an they were about to trash 50+ of these small pizzas).
as I was walking out (last minute) I asked the papa johns people for one of the 50 pizzas they had left for free instead of throwing it out. They said no

Talking to my buddy who has Clemson season tickets. They are allowed to leave at halftime and come back in. They get a pass on the way out and just need their ticket and pass to come back. Most have sobered up by halftime and just need a 2nd half supply to sustain.

It seems that LSU created this with the lack of a viable parking solution. If people stay to the end of the game they will be getting home at daybreak.

TAMU offers bus rides from a local mall for FREE!!!! and a lot of people use them!!!

Right. They aren't supposed to give them away. I knew the two gals closing this South endzone kitchen. They aren't supposed to give them away for Two reasons
1. Encourages People will wait to get them free rather than buy them earlier in the game.

2. Many large chains won't give away old food, despite it being perfectly safe to eat, because it is a sure-fire way to get unwanted negative opinions on product quality.

I'm all for an Incentive program. If it was even. small arse cup of ice cream would help keep my kids from bitching and wanting to leave early when they come with us.

Now there's a win win plan. Offer ice cream or hot chocolate at the end of games. Easy and cheap.

Our flasks were drained and River Road contraflow would have made it forever to get home/to the bar. I was downtown with a beer in my hand by the start of the 4th.

Pretty pathetic that you need alcohol that much.

As far as the traffic situation goes:

I dont know BR streets that well so maybe this has already been done in places - It may seem strange but in Austin they converted many of their 4-lane two-way streets downtown to 4-lane one-way streets alternating in the other direction for every other big street. It actually caused me to get in a wreck because it was so weird to see what amounts to an interstate at ground level every 4 blocks in a downtown but it works really well at moving large amounts of traffic in one direction in a confined space where expanding the streets isnt an option(like downtowns).

My kids like to get frozen yogurt after the games. I will leave early if then whine enough and aren't assholes about it.
