Ole son if you just think our boys are going to lay down to “Bama almighty” then you need to check if you still have a pair. And for all of you so called die hard tigers on here!? Get a grip people. BAMA is just a team. They have the same great athletes as we do. We are finnaly stout on the D-line. O-line will rise to the challenge. But good lord if I was a player and was reading some of your post about basically conceding a loss to BAMA I would tell y’all to stay at the house. Our d is going to be the best the nation has seen in years. Burrow is a damn man. He does not like to lose. The entire team believes in him; if you played ball before you understand. You’ll follow a leader into battle no matter what the odds and hold nothing back (charge of the light brigade) look it up. It’s what Death Valley is really named after. “And onwards the Light brigade”

I think this is correct. And...I think not every 11-1 gets us there either. If the loss is to Texas in Game 2, then I think we're in. But it would require not going 11-1, but 12-1...running the table after Texas beating BAMA, wining the SECW and winning the SEC. That run no question gets LSU into the Top 4.
Do we get in if we go 11-1 with the only loss to BAMA? Man...I don't know. So many factors, including how the game is lost, etc...but does anyone want to sit around and wait until after the SECCG to see if we get the nod as SECW runners-up?
I just don't think LSU is in the BAMA position of being able to lose an all important game in conference, get a rest on Conference Championship Weekend, and STILL get tabbed for a Top 4 spot.

Well shite... What were we thinking? Tigerdroppings posters can't get ahead of ourselves, or else the team won't show up for Georgia Southern. Please shut the hell up in the future. What people talk about on message boards doesn't have any affect on the season. I'm not the starting linebacker for LSU.

Accepting 10 wins every yr does not qualify you for the playoffs. Back in the Charlie McClendon days 7 & 3, 8 & 2 was acceptable to most Tiger fans for whatever reason but King Saban has raised the bar thank God.1 loss ok, 2 loss were out. Undefeated Awesome.
