Do you people really think this is up to Joe?
I don't. The way the guy worded his topic, I thought he was Joe. That's why I said thanks Joe.

Who the fk are you directing this to? ESPN? That's who you should be.

You're right.

So, how confident are you that this game is actually played this Saturday?

On a scale of "1" to "10" - because I'm sitting at a 3 to 4 right now, trying to be optimistic.

First team in SEC history to play 5 SEC road games.

Might want to check your history. See 2015 USC team.

But hey, don't let those stingy facts get in your way.

Everyone involved pretty much has to agree. If the ADs don't understand this or can't negotiate with ESPN during times like this, the universities need to find ADs who can.

You really come across as a buffoon. I get it, you don't like Alleva, but come on, man. Do you just enjoy throwing feces against the wall to see what sticks?

Well to be fair, with incentives, Joe Aleeva, who is the best in the business, only makes around 900k a year . Contingency plans are extra .

I'm not in the know and I don't know how it ends up. I just seen the parties involved in our games losing more games and having to move more games than I think is average or normal.

Because of lack of prior planning. When it is obvious that it will happen every season or so.

Average or normal compared to what?

Almost all of the games we lose or that are moved/rescheduled occur during August/September (hurricane season).

I get it. Major storm bearing down on Houston - absolutely no reason to lock in a backup site, right? None at all.

Just pray that everything will work out, and about half the time, it does!

There are FIVE contingency sites that can host the game. Why do you want to "lock" one in before A) making sure that the game even has to be moved in the first place and B) making sure that the alternate location isn't similarly affected by the storm?

To games other teams lose. How many games has Bama outright lost due to weather since 2012?

Or Florida or FSU, for example? Maybe they're the same or worse and I just don't pay attention, but I doubt it.

You consider this optimism? There is no reason right now to think this game won't be played.
