He is listed at 6-2 and 215. Does he have the hands to play the slot? His speed seems good and he would make a tough match-up for a linebacker or safety. Adding another skill player to the field would seem to be a good idea. And we have more than enough running backs to afford the move.

I've wondered that before myself. His frame looks more like a WR's then your typical RB.

Josh reed was a running back who made the switch. And he is not built like Blue.

He is a damn good back. Why would you want to move him? He might not play as much at RB as he would WR but the kid has way to much potential at RB to move him.

I was not high at all on him early on. He changed my mind. He is one of my favorite backs at LSU.

They are all my favorites lol. They all have a little bit of unique talent. I think if we can pass more next year it will open up our run game alot more. We've seen what these guys can do when they stack the box, let's see what happens when they have to spread the field.

They've hardly used him in the passing game for us to know if he's capable of making the transition.

Blue is great right where he is! No need to move him

Guy has a great up side and if he has the skill set to switch; I believe it gives us another weapon out of the slot. Blue is a tremendous athlete and anything that would give him more touches only helps our offense.

If he's got good hands I wouldn't mind seeing him out there in the slot every once in awhile. It wouldn't hurt anything, he could be on the field more, possibly make plays against big linebackers (somewhat of a mismatch) and if it's an outside run he would be a better blocker than a slot WR anyway. Why not have a few plays with him out there?

I Would like to see Ford back there returning kicks too... Fast, somewhat shifty, and strong! More touches for our play makers!

He could do it, D. Henderson made the switch and he is still catching balls in the NFL.

Devery has some wheels, and could burn anyone in college, I don't think Alfred Blue is close to Devery. I am not sure he has the speed or route running ability, and may not have enough time to learn with only 2 years left. Les won't play him probably either if that switch were to occur.

He looks just like Richard Murphy out there, and I sure wish he would have been given a chance in such a role. I doubt Miles does it though.

I am thinking we will see some of JR at the slot back, his speed and quickness would do well at that position... and it would be a way to get him on the field other than at qb....
