https://www.ncaafootball.com/Bowls.aspxwhy are fans hating on the chic fila bowl...to me if not the bcs the cotton and chicken are no different,plus haven gone to both Atlanta is the better trip.i remember at one time fans would hate to be invited to the cotton bowl.....plus $$$$$ payout is not much different. also playing Oklahoma doesn't get me exited anyway

It would be if it wasn't on Fox. ESPN won't ignore the game or their lovefest of Johnny, but its not as big as if it was on ABC/ESPN

Much of the problem with cotton used to be the morning kick off. That is no longer an issue.

what do you want.. we play in a league with two 1 loss teams and two 2 loss teams.....with the injuries and starting a new qb and a mostly inexperienced defensive back field to think we would go to the bcscg im not the one with blinders on. 
btw LSU owes you not a motherfricking thing.. so enjoy being a fan of this program or take your miserable arse and go route for someone else.

I'd have been more excited to go to the Cotton too, but if y'all don't think that aTm is a much sexier pic right now y'all are just plain stupid. Our offense has been getting a bit better but towards the end of the season it stalled. Our D has just plain sucked the last few games. So yeah, we ARE the only team to make Johnny Football look like a mortal, but at the end of the day, right now, they are (1) a more fun team to watch and (2) even closer to the stadium than we are. You ad those two factors to the fact that we are playing at Jerry's world in September and it's a better business decision by all of the parties involved.

Come on dude, it's about the opponent (was going to be either Texas or Ok in cotton). Clemson. Clemson. No upside whatsoever for us. Love the Tigers but not interested at all in this matchup.
