Reading his bio from the Georgia website, he hasn't seemed to coach the kind of talent that LSU usually brings to the table.

He's a great football coach. He's a great WR coach. Sure, he hasn't had WRTS, but Burton and Pickens were as good as our other guys. If you take a look at the guys he was starting to get at Georgia, you knew it would be only a matter of time before they started making noise...but they don't throw the damn ball.

Pickens, had he been healthy, may have been one of the greats...

A Chase? a Marshall? A Jefferson? Any where near that talent?

LSU doesn’t even have that amount of talent right now. They were a part of the best season in college football history for a reason.

Yes Boutte may be as good as those guys but no one else on the team has proven to be as good as those guys. Bech is awesome but he’s not Chase/Marshall/Jefferson awesome.

You would be hard pressed to find another team with the amount of WR talent we have had over the last several years. While not the quantity, Georgia has definitely had several extremely talented WR's over the years.

Are you saying Georgia has not had talent at the WR position?

Y’all are jumping his arse but he has a point. Their best WRs during his tenure have been George Pickens, Mecole Hardman, jermaine Burton and Lawrence Cager. Those aren’t exactly names to write home about when compared to Chase, Jefferson, Boutte, OBJ, Jarvis, etc.

Outside of QB, WR has easily been UGAs weakest position.

I'll let know after he was at LSU a few years. Georgia fans were not high on him but you have to ask yourself would Kirby Smart make any offensive assistant look good?

That's simply not true. It's an offense that tends to roll over people with tight ends and a stout running attack. That doesn't mean CH is a crappy coach, he probably just got tired of his unit being #3 so he wanted to go somewhere his unit can be #2 maybe #1 and still be at a big time school making good money. I have some insiders and I never heard any chatter about him being forced out or told to look around.

How are WRs highlighted 101

1 they are dog athletes. They transcend all else

2 Qb play

3 offensive system. Build around strengths/weaknesses

I’m not sure UGA really hits hard on any of this tbh
