Then they should have been briefed without attorneys or the ncaa on the phone. If they were concerned, they should have thrown up the red flag in October. It’s called mismanagement.

I think he handled the part where he talked with a "handler" himself, poorly. In terms of the stuff regarding the suspension, I think he handled poorly with regards to LSU. But probably handled it correctly for Will Wade, particularly if he anticipated some question he couldn't honestly answer in a non incriminating fashion.
But I'd still love to see WW back at LSU, however unlikely that is.

For the benefit of all parties concerned - especially LSU - the first meeting should have been between Wade, his attorneys and LSU. Then it could have been determined whether to bring the NCAA in. Having the NCAA present at the first meeting would have been foolish. The lawyers know this. How many times have they taken a client to talk to the police without knowing what the client is going to say?

How does this make sense in your head. Lester has nothing to do with it.
Everything that Fking does just proves that he never should've been hired in the first place. Who thought it would be a good idea to include the NCAA in an employee meeting? Whoever came up with that should be escorted off of university property immediately. Was it a move by BOS and FKing to throw WW under the bus and fire him for cause? I've been largely silent about all of this because there's not enough information floating around to come to an informed opinion. FKing has to go now.

You're relying on the media to prove your point as is LSU and Joe Alleva (even when the media was wrong in Duke Lacrosse.)
CWW isn't under investigation. He's a potential witness in a Federal trial.
LSU could have and should have not said anything to the NCAA except that we are investigating our employee internally and will get back with you after same and/or said Federal trial.
Until testimony in that trial casts CWW in a different light, everyone should wait and reserve judgment.
You and some of the other contrarians need to step outside and back off from the keyboard. There's a baseball game at LSU. Go watch it.

Ok... let’s not bring Orgeron into this. He has nothing to do with this. This is about Wade, our althetic department administrators, and basketball.
I’m not Orgeron biggest fan, but other than the fact Alleva boneheaded that whole coaching search thing (in the way he did it, not necessarily in who he hired. The verdict is still out on Orgeron), he is irrelevant to the conversation.
