The players running up to the recruits was an awesome moment. That kind of shows you the mindset those guys had. It was all about LSU. The current roster don’t have that mindset. I do wonder if Bama remembers that and does something similar. I mean if you are choosing between Bama and LSU it’s hard to look over this year and remember last year.

Coach O needs to learn to keep his mouth shut and let his optimism show on the field.
I can hear the post game interview now. "Well, our team played Alabam tough, we only lost 35-3, and stopped their third team players on every series in the 3rd and 4th qtr's."

This plus I seem to recall Coach O saying the offensive lineman may be the best they have had since he's been at LSU...
1st I have no illusions or expectations that any head coach should come out and say; wow, we are having lots of problems in practice and we may have a terrible year..
I get that..
On the other hand head coaches need to realize that when you blow sunshine our way it is setting expectations and has the potential of coming back to bite you..
I support LSU, our head coach and I hope they get this sorted out VERY QUICKLY

So LSU has had a whole bunch of bad practices? Too little too late. Our guys have to play with some emotion. The young guys are not learning from the older players......this is why we lose.....no pride, no sense of urgency. A bunch of pretty good athletes with some displaying their talents but no way playing as a cohesive unit.
