Somebody needs to step up and take care of the vehicle situation.

That’s fricking awesome. I cheer for all of our Tigers, but it’s easy to cheer a little harder for the ones who are this cool and take time out to make a kid’s day.

Props to Mr. Woodland. You can tell by his son’s actions that he’s a great Dad.

He definitely makes us proud. He has always been a very humble and thoughtful child.

Thank you for sharing this! Pj is my son and he really made that kids day! They were a really nice family out of West Monroe and invited us to tailgate with them next season. We are really excited about the future here at LSU and appreciate all the hospitality that’s been shown thus far! We’re from Mississippi but there’s nothing like good old Louisiana love that’s been shown to PJ!! GEAUX TIGERS !!!!

It’s awesome to see you here in this thread! Kudos to you for raising your son right. As a Dad, I always appreciate a young adult who’s willing to take time out to make an impression on kids who look up to them. Geaux Tigahs!

You should be proud. The impact your son has - for better or worse, on kids is unbelievable.

Thankful he’s a Tiger!

You know what, we see alot of pettiness and vitriol and negative posts here and it gets us a bit jaded I think to where some days it's almost all you see.

We all needed to see this - there's still hope for us all! Great story - so proud to hear one of our Tigers is this kind of young man!

Wonderful story. It jogged my memory when my family and I randomly met Stevan Ridley in Little Rock on Thanksgiving Day 2008. At the time he was also a freshman athlete from Mississippi. He became our favorite Tiger.
