Coach prime encouraging the whole team to jump on and throw punches…typical.

He's teaching them to have your brother's back. He's not condoning or encouraging fighting, but if it happens you get behind your brother no matter what

You can tell in this thread who played football and who didn’t. If my brother gets in a fight, I’m in a fight too no matter if they’re right or wrong. We’re in this shite together.
Uhhh, they are fighting their brothers, Chief.

So Deion wants the benches cleared every time there is some extra shoving after a play?
One fights we all fight.
That’s gonna play well with the officials. How many suspensions can his team get before they can’t filed a team for a game?

Not that big of a deal, but that’s the type of thinking that will cause a bunch of personal foul penalties and possible ejections when a Colorado player gets into it with a player from another team.

I took that a little differently than what the plane message was. Prime was teaching group mentality and not instigating violence. He’s playing off of in-group/out-group psychology. As if to say, the collective will make the decision not an individual participating or individual(s) taking exclusion. Which is to say, if a fight occurs we will all be there to work together as a team. Each individual hold the group as a priority or accountable for the goal of group success. The team also responded well to the fight to the affect of breaking it up and not adding to the mayhem.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that is not at all what Deion was thinking or trying to teach.
He’s not that deep.

Those situations are rare and not what was happening in that Colorado or most altercations on the football field. If a player can be injured by a dirty hit or has more than one guy on him, you gotta have his back, but if a couple of players are getting into it, you don’t want other players running to get in on it or come off the bench. Let them get the unsportsmanlike and take the 15 yards in that situation.

I don’t pay attention to anybody who demands to be called “Coach Prime” Got that Deon?

Trying to compare the two situations is moronic.

I can tell you that Sanders is 100% correct on this. If one fights, we all fight. It’s about protecting the brotherhood and being there for your teammates and promotes camaraderie.

And here we are on an LSU football message board talking about a team that went 1-11 last year. There are similar threads on every college football message board with a pulse.
I'd say prime knows exactly what he is doing and it's working.

I couldnt understand parts of Prime's speech at end of clip. What did he ask? I could tell it was a question but could not understand what he was saying.

Much ado about nothing….this coach, like water, will find his level. The media creates monsters, now it’s time to watch the media’s demise…

Sanders is the last person that should be a leader of young men. His whole life has been about him and not a team. Not a good example.
Came here to say the exact same thing. Wouldn’t want my son to look up to him and want to be like him.

He signed the top-ranked cornerbacks in the nation for the 2022 and 2023 classes. And Colorado ranked #1 in the Transfer Rankings for 2023.
I think that's a pretty damn good start...
Worth noting that Seydou Traore was one of the top transfer prospects who factored into those rankings, and he immediately bolted Boulder for Mississippi State after spring practice was over.
And again, CU still has a lot of holes in depth, and from what I've seen, their upcoming recruiting class is ranked somewhere in the 60s nationally at the moment.
I think it's unfair to criticize Deion too heavily before he coaches a game at CU. However, I also think it's premature to heap too much praise on him yet. I'd say he's off to a middle-of-the-road start.
