If you look at teh start of Miami and SLU

LSU's offense was in sink and played well to score.

They went in stow when they had a sufficient lead in the beginning of the season ..

Hold your Cards close until it is necessary

I believe they will be that 1rst quarter team against Auburn

That's great and all except for the fact that Burrow was getting mauled all night by an FCS defense.

Most here think the toilet was the proper household apparatus to describe this team in the second half last weekend (sync, not sink).

I understand now though. It was part of the plan to complete 5 of 14 passes through the final three quarters and only run 17 offensive plays in the second half. You're right, I do have trouble following this kind of O logic.

Right. It's one thing to grind away at the clock

But when you're attempting to pass and your QB is getting clobbered that's not good

Chicken should consider putting a minimum post count before someone can start a thread. We have seen these threads constantly all week, all from the same crowd of posters with under 100 post.

If you think the offense was in synch by being up 17-0 against SE, then you are delusional. Being up 24-0 came from a hail Mary. 99% chance that pass isn't caught against Auburn defenders.

Take that pass away, and consider that SE should have easily scored 10, if they wouldn't have shite their pants, and you could have easily had a 24-10 final. You consider that good?

But they did not. And we did win 31 to 0... if we play like that against Auburn it will be 31 to 0. Auburn

Derek should test the IQ of these people before he turns them loose on the board.

Of course, if he did that, his number of applicants would take a massive hit.

This offense is so good and well coached, they could afford to hire everything while playing SLU?

Why do so many believe we are “holding back” year after year? For what purpose when the offense clearly needs all the practice it can get? Clearly that strategy has done nothing to help in the long run for years. I’m not saying throw out every trick play or wrinkle at any opportunity, but run the offense. It’s what all the best teams do every week and they’re usually in the playoff as a result.
