No, it doesnt make him less of a Tiger but I wouldnt say Ben Simmons is someone I necessarily "root for" either. While at LSU sure, I hope they have success but beyond that I am far less invested.

If you don’t know who his parents are, you should probably just move along to another board. Nothing for you to see here.

Wow. Didn’t know there were people so cool as BBATiger posting here. What a jackass.

At this height, mondo is now about 9.5 inches under the world record. I believe it is going to be his within the next year or so.

Probably not within the next year, but he has a chance to do it. He has to get stronger. There is every possibility he will because he’s still young. He can’t lose focus either. It’s tough to maintain that work ethic when everything is being thrown at you - money, fame, woman. Not that I would know

He already has the fifth best height of all time and a 19-10 outdoors. He’ll go over 20 feet at some point this summer.

I believe his dad is on the Swedish payroll as his coach or something. Maybe I’m wrong.

Wow! This is a really, really tremendous achievement. It should get more attention on here. Congratulations Mondo! This will stand in LSU, SEC and collegiate sport history for a long time.....unless he goes on to break the all time mark.....I hope.

Pretty sure you are right this allowed him to travel with Mondo. It was a much better financial decision to compete for Sweden with him being so young and not able to get endorsements.
