Congrats Hall of Famers Kevin Mawae and Johnny Robinson.

Kevin Mawae, right guard and center, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans
Mawae was a mean, space-clearing interior lineman who was the eye of the hurricane that ripped through the trenches in three different stops. The former second-round pick put together a 16-year career that ended with a flourish; he was a first-team All-Pro in his second-to-last season in 2008, then a Pro Bowler in his final year in 2009. He was an eight-time All-Pro and, like every other player in this year’s Hall of Fame class, a member of the NFL’s all-2000s team.

Eta: Johnny Robinson also inducted.

Johnny Robinson, flanker and defensive back, Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs
Robinson was one of the most versatile players of the 1960s, beginning his career as a multi-purpose offensive threat before developing into one of the game’s top defensive backs. He averaged 5.7 interceptions per season, twice leading the league. He also had four postseason interceptions while earning three world titles — including the Chiefs’ last Super Bowl win in 1969. He was a seven-time All-AFL honoree and a one-time All-Pro

Surprised you didn't include Robinson who played for LSU
LSU would have had 3 Hall of Fame players elected but instead got 2. Plus Ed Reed who is from Louisiana

Faneca and Whitworth are my favorites.
But Mawae is in the next breath.
Had the privedge of watching him a lot as a Titan. Since I’ve always watched former Tigers in games, I was happy when the Titans got him. His technique at that phase of his career was awesome. He was quick to position himself to shield much bigger DL from the back. Thing of beauty. Almost a dance.

Can LSU really not find a spot for an NFL hall of Famer on the coaching roster?

Not sure but probably the only time LSU had two HOF"s in the same class. Been a season ticket holder for 25 years and Alan Faneca is the best lineman I ever saw play for LSU, hope he makes it next year. Meanwhile congrats to Kevin and Johnny. Johnny was just great, in the era of Taylor, Cannon, Stoval, he's one of the best Tigers ever.

Great. Very happy for both of them. It's about time for Robinson. Too bad Faneca couldn't have made it a trifecta but his time will come.

Congrats to both! It's about time for Robinson. I was also hoping Faneca would get in this time as well

I got a chance to meet Kevin in Atl. He was done to earth and sat with him while his wife and daughter shopped in the mall.
