This is the worst defense in the history of LSU. We should not be this bad even if we lost 11 starters. Recruiting is the problem. We have 11 players starting on one side of the ball who really should not be playing SEC football. Shame that we finally got an offense and now the defense fricks them over.

hardly. It is the worst under chavis though since he got here in 2009. It might be worse than what Malloveto fielded in 2008. we will have to wait and see how it plays out.

Imagine this offense with the 2011 defense. oh well.

While I don't think this is true, I do think Chavis' system is predicated on having playmakers at every level. It requires the one on one tackle. We currently don't have a single playmaker.

Find one that is worse. I was here during the Hallman years and before. Hallman never put a defense this bad on the field. The only two that come close are 2008 and 1998, but 2013 makes them look like the '85 Chicago Bears.

My thoughts exactly!!! we have been recruiting poorly for years but got lucky with mingo
montgommery, and Mathew. all of them were 3 or 4 stars and grossley underrated.

But we have not been landing elite players. Heck Landon colins would have been the diffrence yesterday.

2008, 1998, 1983 all say hello and thank you 2013 for taking us out of the discussion of the worst defenses in LSU history. LSU has (or, rather, HAD) never lost a game (in regulation) while scoring 40 points. Show me a worse defense. Any Defense in LSU history. Yes, including 2008 and 1998 and all the rest. Show me one that was worse.

With Lou Tepper's defense, we would have won yesterday.

That would mean he was a mere 7 yr old when he signed up at TD. Impressive.

Nuts is back ladies and gentlemen!

He and Moustache are two peas in a pod.

I have a feeling that these guys are drama queens IRL. If they spill a cup of coffee, they'll be calling the fire department to come help him out.
