I feel pretty good about our situation right now but RPI boosts are always appreciated.
I think the Southland Conference is a one bid league. Lamar is the best team in the league, but at 60 in the RPI I don't think they're a serious at large contender. They play in the only Southland game today that doesn't have LSU opponents in it.
For our RPI in the 4 Southland games, we want McNeese over Northwestern (we want the better of our opponents to win) in game 1, Lamar in game 2 (to give an LSU opponent a higher RPI opponent in round 2), Nicholls over Texas A&M-CC (we want our opponent to beat a non-opponent), and Southeastern over UNO in game 4 (we want the away win at SELU to be as valuable as possible).

If anyone wants to cover the other games results for the early games I’ll be out till 2:00.
How many people are interested in me doing a regional breakdown once regionals get announced.

Just read this morning, that Florida's AD is on the selection committee. He was added a few weeks ago as a late replacement when one of the other members dropped out. So there will be some SEC representation on there.

West Virginia trying to knock K-State off the bubble. Bases loaded, no outs in the bottom of the first.
ETA: WVU up 2-0 with no outs in the bottom of the first.

Jay Artigues is on the committee as well. We hired one of his sons as a GA and when an opening on our schedule popped up, we scheduled SELU away. So he owes us.

Him and Jay have a good relationship from what I understand.

One of the biggest results from yesterday’s games was Nebraska getting run-ruled by Ohio St. We will need to keep an eye on Illinois’ game against Penn St. They trail early 1-0 in the 3rd. If one of those two teams do not win the tournament, it would likely result in a stolen bid.

K-State picked up a win today against West Virginia.
McNeese beats Northwestern State.

Georgia Tech about to fall to 0-2 on the weekend down 13-0 in the 7th.
Penn St beat Illinois 3-1 setting up the very real possibility of a bid steal coming from the Big 10. That’s someone else’s worry now. I’m looking at you, Florida.

Could get crazy if indiana makes it to the championship gets a big boost in RPI but loses then potentially 4?!?! From the big ten.

Illinois lost today as well. So both Big 10 locks are in the losers bracket.

I don't think there is a big RPI boost to be had though. One of the league's top RPI teams didn't even qualify for their tournament.

Impactful Games
TCU is down 0-4 in the 9th to Oklahoma = Likely to move to 1-1 in the conference tournament
Coastal Carolina vs Southern Miss is 0-0 in the 8th. = This game has big implications for Coastal Carolina.
South Carolina is up 4-3 on Arkansas in the 7th but Arkansas have 2 on 0 outs.

Carolina is about to implode.

Like Project said, I don’t think Indiana gets enough of an RPI boost to justify 4 Big 10 teams. I only considered Indiana a bubble team if the committee was going to throw a bone to the Big 10 to give them 3 bids. If a third team gets an auto bid, I think that knocks Indiana out.

They've actually been really resilient today. They took the first lead and then answered every time Arkansas scored. This last time, it just took an inning. But they got to Gaeckle.
ETA: Now they're imploding.

Stanford beats Oregon State and will win their pool in the Pac-12 Tournament and head to the semifinals. Could be a potential bid stealer there.
