1. Obviously the major one is not being finished on time.
A. The awning is not near done.
B. How are they covering up the Iron looking back?

2. No outfield seats yet? Or will there be any at all??

3. Mud outside the stadium...I know this isn't THAT important but I would like it to look halfway decent for the opening.

4. P.S. the actualy field looks GREAT!

5. Parking? I know there is a large parking lot next to the field but most will have to park and walk from across Nicholson

6. Will they sell beer in the Champions club?

7. ANY OTHER CONCERNS??

Whether or whether not they will sell beer in the Champions Club.

Parking lot.

A lot of minor details won't be a big concern. As long as there's parking, seats, and a field to play on, it's ready enough.

It's the nature of the design, probably won't be covered up. (if you're talking about the supports)

they'll worry about the cosmetics last. As long as they have a good field to play on, and seats to sit in.

Do you work in construction?
To be more exact, project management?

Mainieri was on 870AM last night and he seemed pretty confident that they will open the season in the new stadium. He was saying he was going to start Coleman because he's a senior that helped get to where we got last year and there will only ever be one player to have the first start in this new stadium and thinks he deserves it.

They didnt remove anything b/c the team did fall practice there and they had the purple/gold world series there as well.

No, are you trying to hint that I should shut my mouth because I don't know what I'm talking about?

Haha, the fact is I'm just concerned about the opening on time. Personally, I think it will be open in time. But as a student and a tiger fan, can I not have an interest in what's going on at my university? It's not like I'm going around telling the coaching staff who to hire or how to run their team

I'm in construction and it always appears like they have 50 % of the project complete with a couple weeks to go and the last couple weeks when the finishing touches are installed, BAM, it makes the project finally look complete.

NO worries, of course, i don't work for the G.C. doing the project so i don't know it's true status. I'll tell you this, if we were behind at this point in the project due to whatever, we'd work day and night to get it done so no one knows our company name for the wrong reasons...

I was in the old Box for the scrimmages, and even if they wanted to use it for some reg season games (which they won't) they would have some work to do. Nothing has been done since the hurricane, and there would need to be a little money and work put into the grandstand.

Doesn't matter though, cause the new Box will be playable. They can pour concrete whenever, and alot of the other things (remaining seats, scoreboard, etc) are all pre-fab items that just needs to be installed. No worries here.

bnap told me that the project would be 100% finished by opening day also, so I'm believing him.
