Jay got his team in this position. You never, ever admit your Basically conceding games like this to your team. You cant think about the post season especially when you arent going to be in it. You play to win every game at this point. You dont concede 3 conference games as far as pitchers in your mind for later when there will be no later.

You might be overthinking this. None of our choices are good at this point. I’m sure Jay didn’t tell these kids go out and lose these games.

LSU doesn’t have any really good pitchers. Even their so called “best” pitchers get shelled more often than not. It really doesn’t matter who you put on the mound, LSUs chances of winning are slim.

I totally understand what your saying. But ask yourself. What is the ONLY thing Jay accomplished by doing this to his team? Ill answer, his kids mentally quit and got 2, 7 inning games. We haven't seen this this year until his bs decision to use this approach.

Is it conceding when you throw your ace in game 2 and he still gets blasted? This entire pitching squad has been mentally destroyed this season. Nobody is an alpha on the mound and they're all scared shitless. Not excusing coaching but at some point they have to execute and this team has 0 leaders there.

We could have won each game this weekend 25-0 and we still would need to sweep the SEC tourney to get in.
