I don't know about Anderson. According to that, these teams have had a harder schedule than us:

1. Texas (Rice, BYU, UCLA, Iowa St, Oklahoma)
2. Tulsa (Okla, Tulane, Ok St, Boise St, N. Texas)
3. East Carolina (USCe, VT, UAB, UNC, Houston)
4. Texas A&M (SMU, Idaho, Ok St, Arkansas, TTU)
5. Florida Atl (Fla, Mich St, Auburn, ULL)
6. Auburn (Utah St, Miss St, Clemson, Fla Atl, USCe, Arky)
7. Oklahoma (Tulsa, FSU, Mizzu, Ball St, Texas)
8. Utah (Montana St, USC, BYU, Wash, Arizona St)
9. South Carolina (ECU, UGA, Navy, Vandy, Aub, Kentucky)
10. UCLA (Houston, San JOse St, Texas, Oregon St, Stanford, WSU)
11. Arizona (N. Arizona, Okie St, Stanford, Oregon, USC, Ore St)
12. Alabama (Kent St, Penn St, N. Texas, Arky, Fla, Vandy)
13. Notre Dame (USF, Michigan, Mich St, Pitt, Purdue, AFA)
14. Kansas (McNeese, N. Illinois, Ga Tech, TTU, Ok St)
15. Nevada (Oregon, San Jose St, TTU, Bosie St, UNLV)
16. Missouri (Miami-Oh, Arizona St, W. Illinois, Oklahoma, Kansas St)
17. Kent St (Bama, ULL, Kansas St, USA, Ohio, N. Illinois)
18. North Texas (FIU, Houston, Bama, Indiana, Tulsa, Fla Atl).
19. Rice (Texas, Purude, Baylor, Southern Miss, Memphis)
20. Georgia (Boise St, USCe, C. Carolina, Ole Miss, Miss St, Tenn)
21. Kentucky (WKU, C. Michigan, Louisville, Fla, LSU, USCe)
22. Marshall (WVU, Southern Miss, Ohio, VT, Louisville, UCF)
23. Florida (Fla Atl, UAB, Tenn, Kentucky, Bama, LSU)
24. Baylor (TCU, SFA, Rice, Kansas St, Iowa St)
25. Florida St (ULM, Char. Southern, Oklahoma, Clemson, Wake)
26. Vanderbilt (Elon, UConn, Ole Miss, USCe, Bama)

Some make sense, some not so much. Notice, there are 2 teams from the SEC West (Bama and Auburn), and only 1 missing from the SEC East (Tennessee)

Did I miss something? How is that OU's strength of schedule is seen as being higher than LSU or Alabama?
Can anyone answer that for me.

1.Oklahoma .843 7

2.Alabama .838 12

3.LSU .824 27

# Through the first 6 weeks of the season, Oklahoma has accomplished the most of any team in the nation.

Not in the world I live in does OU have a tougher schedule. I tell you, it's a Conspiracy.

The Massey poll makes no sense. For the BCS column, it has several junior colleges ranked over some 1A schools, and it has Wofford ahead of Florida.

It seems very odd
Not that it matters, because we control our destiny. By season's end UO and WVU along with Ar-kansas and Bama will boost LSU enormously. The will work out.

Objective viewers, taking quality of opponents into consideration, would laugh at this.

It all comes back to teams that we play having losses by playing us. The computer rankings take a full year of games to be at all useful. Even then, I think some of them are pretty flawed. Any objective person can tell you LSU has had a really tough schedule so far. Typically, we can wait for the SEC schedule to make up for a weak OOC schedule. This year the OOC schedule will keep getting stronger along with the conference schedule. If we win out, there is no way in hell we don't end up 1.

Why waste your time with these BCS computer rankings?

If you want the most accurate computer rankings, these routinely spank Sagarin in predicting game winners: www.collegepigskin.com

These are done using a mathematical algorithm I developed. Every team starts the season off exactly equal-- zero bias.

Right now, it's just there as an extension of my personal website, but I'm working on building a proper site in my spare time. It's slow going because I don't know anything about HTML and just teaching myself as I go along.

My goal is for them to one day be used in the BCS calculations if the BCS actually survives.

LSU is #2 in mine, right behind Alabama. Don't panic, though, take a look at 2010 Week 6. :)

The BYE week is slightly hurting Oklahoma, otherwise they would be above Illinois easily.
