Its depth and quality on the offensive line. Not many quality offensive linemen have come through LSU recently. I don't know if that's development or recruiting/identification of talent. Probably a combination of the two, but LSU needs to emphasize offensive line recruiting and development.

Seems like there are more transfers/dismissed players on the line than anywhere else. Maybe it's a lack of camaraderie. Need to emphasize players who will commit/stick or find a way to make them feel like a brotherhood.

Absolutely disagree. People blame or give credit to coaches unjustly. It is all about players and talent, coaching could make a difference if both teams have equal talent. As a soccer player I believe US can not win the world cup if they were coached by the best coaches in the world. When was the last time Nick Saban won anything without top 3 recruiting classes? Dave Aranda who shot down Louisville offense with their HT winner QB can not become so terrible overnight that he could not stop MSU and Syracuse offense.

Answer this question how many yards Bo Scarborough and Damien Harris had against us last season? They O-Line thou

They both averaged over 4 yards a carry and Hurts put up 120. And Fournette had 35 yards.

Did you watch the same game as me?

Had he been open to a passing game with similar complexities, we wouldn't be looking at the Alabama dynasty because LSU would have killed it before it ever got going.

He did until Jarrett Lee. Even in 2012 and 2013 they threw plenty.

Les didn't want to put entire games on bad quaterbacks' shoulders.

I went ahead and copied the stat line since you don't seem to be getting it. If you don't think this is an impressive rushing stat line vs. a good LSU defense, then I don't know if you can be cured of your blind Alabama hate.

Yea, amazingly coaches play to the strengths of the roster and not to the clueless crowd.

Coaching has just as much to do with success on the field that talent does. Talent will only take you so far and as a LSU fan you should know that.

Which actually sounds like good coaching. The problem was why did he have so many bad QBs in a row.

It's already been said that Canada will have to simplify the plays. Maybe recruiting should be changed. Some players can't play in the games because of grades or off-the-field issues. Maybe character and I.Q. should factor more into recruitment.

Both Cameron and Canada run shitty old school systems. Can't wait until LSU gets a spread up tempo guy and people finally start to enjoy watching them again. Sadly, the talent will likely be gone by the time it happens.

you can only mask so much when your offensive line in not up to caliber standards for the SEC. they have to be 2 deep or you will get exposed like LSU. I don't care who the coach is, if you can not run and pass block the you a re doomed. this will take several recruiting cycles to fix, period.

It is what it is, you cant blame O for a lack of emphases or even the o-line coach. The HBC agrees to offering the scholarship not the recruiters.

Recruit in the areas great offensive linemen come from. Look at last season's Pro Bowl offensive linemen, and go to those areas (like WWisconsin) and go get some of them.
