I would like to the hear the opinions of others on the differences between these two #1 rated QB's in the country coming out of high school their enior season that committed to LSU.....TALENT WISE ONLY PLEASE!! I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE OFF-THE-FIELD / CHARACTER ISSUES OF PERRILLOUX!!!! So, which one of these two QB's coming out of high school were better athletes/QB's when they were both high school seniors?
ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS STRICTLY CONCERNING ALL MATTERS ON-THE FIELD. WE ARE ALL AWARE THAT RP WAS A COMPLETE BUST AND HAD NO BRAIN! Please only compare athletic ability, leadership skills, arm strength, etc., etc. and in any way you may think is important to mention....

Similar arm strength
Kiel is in a much more structured offense. RP was allowed to improvise a lot

Kiel is very accurate, appears to be making reads all over the field in his videos. Very quick release and threading the needle in all his highlights. RP had better feet I guess.

RP>GK as far as coming out of hs.

I agree with those giving RP the slight advantage, but this kid is very mature and has a brain and Ive been told reads defenses extremely well like Peyton Manning....well, you know what I mean!

So he reads High school Defenses like Manning reads NFL defenses?

I have never seen any film on GK. I hope he is as good as advertised. My only concern is he plays in Indiana. I have to think RP played against more players that went on to major D-1 football than GK.

Talent wise, I honestly believe RP was as good of a qb talent that has ever lived. Too bad he couldn't get his act together.
The thing about Kiel is he has talent, but he also has smarts and comes from a family of qb's. The guy was born to play the position.

RP Skills >>>>>>> GK Skills
RP's career died from an overdose of swag though.
I think Kiel may be more likely to not pull guns on bouncers, use counterfeit money, and threaten to kill people in nice restaurants.

Like comparing a counterfeit $20 bill to a real $100 bill
(You decide which one is RP)

I don't understand your bangheads. I thought that the OP offered a reasonable question about the compared abilities of these 2 players at the same point in time.

Impressive. Future looks good for LSU with him and Mett. I see us running an offense like Stanford with both of those qb's.

Not so fast, my friend. Perrilloux was just released form the New York Giants practice squad. He played a little in the preseason. He still has some life in his career.
NY Times Article on Perrilloux

Hows your understanding of this one?

I knew one dumbass wouldn't understand what I meant. Did you not read the rest of my message? I SAID, WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN......
So, for the ignorant who are slow, I meant that some experts say Kiel has similar skills of reading defenses like Peyton Manning has always had.....even when he was at Newman!! Now, do you understand????

@Roger, and I'm sure RP had no highlights like that from high school right? He only had 5000 yards and 67 td's as a high school senior, lol.
Scout.com's profile of RP said he was one of the most elite recruits in recent memory, most dangerous offensive weapon in the country, strongest are in the country with a quick release and pinpoint accuracy, can rollout and throw on the run flawlessly, and has breakaway speed with incredible agility. RP had all world talent with no brain. The all world talent part is all that matters in this discussion.
And I think Kiel will be great by the way. In no way am I hating on him.
