Saban has had 9. He is far from perfect as much as his lovers want him to be.
AND the Defenders / Subshine Pumpers call it "processes" when they do leave.
The difference is Bama can afford to lose players like him.
You can't have it both ways. Saban either loses them or "processes" them OR THRY SIT AND WAIT if they aren't a big ole pussy. SMH

I guess you missed the quality part. All these guys are now playing at smaller colleges or juco. Yep that's a winner. They saw freshman out working them and quit because they didn't feel like competing. Yeah that's what you want on your team, guys that quit when things get hard. Things weren't even hard, just challenging them made them quit.

I never once mentioned he would never lose a good player. The only thing I said was that he can afford to lose good players more so than we can due to their depth.

You're reaching. Most of those guys left before the freshmen even arrived and in case you haven't noticed it isn't just a quality issue the quantity is nearly at a critical level. Orgeron didn't do anything to address that as he brought in the same players that were already committed when he was named interim. Not to mention the person primarily responsible for developing the quality in the old regime has the same responsibility in the new regime.

Saban does not lose Maea.

Yeah, Nick didn't lose Damien James either. Oh wait, he did.

At some point players are responsible for their actions. O accepting a share of the blame as he should but it's also the position coach and the academic staff who monitor such things.
Every year we're thin in some places. One year it was the DL, then it was the linebackers and how could we forget quarterback. This year it's the OL, RB and WR.

Exactly. These numbskulls don't understand that parents are a HUGE part of the recruiting process?
When it comes to a 5-star talent, you might care what the parent thinks a bit.

He's thin at QB, lost most of his experienced backups last year. They're screwed if Hurts goes down.

Why does that have to mean that he and his dad are telling o what to do? Maybe he's telling us that so the media and us fans know everyone is happy with the move...

Saban also doesn't boot players who have guns and weed in their car.

I have no doubts that he will do the same for our OL. Miles sucked at keeping good depth here and this is the results.

The recruiting and depth on the OL has been an issue for yrs just not the biggest. Les did a great job recruiting the skill positions excluding QB. Since Les left ground has been made up on the DL, LB and QB but there was not enough progress on the OL.

The appropriate thing to say was:
"We recruited him as an athlete and we all saw how he performed in the AA games against excellent competition so we thought, with his talent level, he was too good to not give it a try. Look at Claiborne from a few years back and that worked out great for him and the team. This is a team sport and we all have to do everything to reach our potential."

Saying shite like he did only opened the Pandora's box for future athletes to dictate where or when they play regardless of it being what's best for the Team and what you actually said behind closed doors.
Some shite shouldn't be said like that in public regardless if it is true.

Peoole have been saying this about Alabama every year it seems. Something tells me that if Hurts goes down they will just reload and the machine will keep rolling. It sucks but it's the truth.

So in addition to Maea transferring, 3 of our other starting olinemen are hurt after one week of practice.

I've said this from the being most of our starting O-lineman have been hurt multiple times so why does that change all of a sudden. Clapp and Weathersby especially.
This is football they will be dinged again just hope its not multiple games. Hoping for the best but will have young players starting in brutal tough stadiums this year.

They signed the #1 dual threat QB in the country and he was there for spring and looked great. Some Bama observers are saying they wouldn't be shocked if he took the starting job away from Hurts at some point during the season. Bama is NOT thin at QB.
