They were fighting in the locker room a month ago. Wait till they gel and HVL learns to play point.

I'm sure the team will be fine okay come March but the team will be held back from their potential without a true PG and not having a true bench who can contribute meaningful minutes.

A loss can teach you a lot. I'm sure she won't let it go by.

They don't have a PG. They should let Williams play PG and move Van Lith to a position where she can use her skills.

KM has not played bench players all year! She has failed to develop any depth. There are scholarship players sitting and receiving no playing time all season. Her substitution pattern of going only 7 deep will be a killer come tournament time. I already see a tired bunch of 7 players who won't be rolling come March!
Example today... AU bench outscored LSU bench 17-4! Can't win too many games when the bench sits all game and doesn't contribute.

Im afraid you’re right. Mulkey knows waaay more than me, but the lack of playing time for Velez, Kent, and Del Rosario is a bad sign. Del Rosario is slugish, but we need her to give7-8 minutes a game. We really need Kent or Velez to add some minutes as well. I would like to see a game with Williams running point and letting HVL at 2 as well.

Its not sustainable. LSU came into the season with 12 scholarship players, one is out for year to injury, the other left the team. We are down to 10, with 4 of them being true freshmen. Bartlett has been here for 3 years and plays as much as our walk on.

Our starting five look like they are getting more fatigued the more we get into the season. Some have to be getting dead legs at this point. At some point they need some help.

She’s too slow to play the point.
Can’t take anyone off the dribble and is not a good passer. Defensively she struggles to keep anyone in front of her.

this isn't really a thing for college athletes. They only play 2 games per week, and have NCAA-mandated limited practice time.

Now yes, in the NBA, with an 82-game schedule with nearly 4 games per week and a ton of travel, fatigue and tired legs is a real thing.

But not for 18-22 year olds with a much lighter schedule.

I don’t see it. Lack of depth and lack of guard play very very hard to overcome at highest level.

Short memory? What was our record last season mid January?

Who believed we would win it all.
We probably won't repeat but injuries and a short bench are a big handicap to overcome.
