I have more of a problem with him not calling the low strike. As a pitcher, that's the one call you want. And he's not giving it to either pitcher.
That plays into FSU's pitcher's game more than ours though. He lives on off speed and that changeup is nasty. Lange uses his curve as his go to K pitch...but he hasn't been able to get ahead in the counts.
So Lange is having to throw the fastball higher to get a strike call...When you have to leave the ball high, bad things happen.
