College Gameday going to Clemson Week 1

This seems like they're forcing this given that Clemson is playing Georgia Tech on a Thursday, and I believe the reason for that is so they get their one Clemson game in (ACC schedule is trash) and can then go to Austin the next week for LSU @ Texas. Can't wait to be in Austin that weekend. Should be BUZZING
ETA: So apparently they'll be doing both the Clemson game and the Auburn-Oregon game, but I think my point still stands that it seems like they're forcing this so that they can skip Clemson vs A&M the next week

Have you seen the Week 1 slate? Why would you not go to the defending champions by default?

I think this is wrong... are they not going to dallas for Auburn/Oregon? Clemson plays Georgia Tech week one. Highly doubt they are going to that

Wrong. They already announced they will be in Arlington for Auburn/Oregon.
My prediction for week two is LSU at Texas.
Then week three for Clemson at Syracuse.

they definitely are just checked. My mom is a huge Auburn fan and she texted me the moment they announced it since we are going to the game in the Jerry Dome. Then hopefully they pick LSU/Texas week 2 so I can be at back to back college gameday games. Nice start to the year...(skipping a wedding for this. no shame)

They are gonna do the Thursday night game, then pack up the whole road crew on Friday, travel from Clemson to Arlington, and have it all set up by 8am Saturday? Ballsy.

haha good call! I didn't bother to check the dates.
Personally I don't think Auburn is going to be that great this year. I think they lose at least 4. maybe 5.

I would imagine they have two sets of equipment/crew and the on screen guys will just fly on Friday.

If I'm not mistaken, Google has them at Clemson on Thursday and in Arlington on Saturday week one. Looks like week 2 will be ours. They went to A&M Clemson game last year, I don't see them getting that game again.
