So Mississipi State is reporting actual attendance while everyone else is reporting tickets sold. I find that hard to believe.

Exactly. The number listed in every box score is always tickets sold.

Yeah the notion that by reporting the way that everyone else does - tickets sold - Mississippi State would be able to say they lead the country in attendance - yet they choose not to and rather just list actual - that would be assinine if they did that - i'm quite sure they do not. and I'm quite sure their actual attendance isn't 9900 people so far this year.

Definitely tickets sold. It really sucks that a lot of those ticket holders only show up for a few big series and regionals , but won’t give upon their tickets, so fans who would go can

Generally speaking, you can purchase a bleacher ticket or a SRO ticket for a game and sit in an unoccupied seat once the game starts.

5K top crowd I know it’s not a sell out but do people not realize that 5k for a regular season college baseball game is a lot of people.

Considering the last full season pre-Covid attendance numbers showed only 18 schools averaged over 3,000 fans per game....and that's paid not actual, 5,000 at a college baseball game any time is quite a rare feat.

Every school counts tickets sold, not just LSU.

Not attendance at all. List is number of tickets sold.

You can buy tickets for pretty much every single game you are acting like it’s impossible to get to a game without having season tickets

Are we counting tickets sold or people in seats?

They are counting the same way as everyone else.

And outside of the gold seats you can get tickets for relatively inexpensive. If you go to the outfield you can get them for really really cheap. Even for SEC games.

If I lived in BR I would be at every game possible.

Same here man. Anytime they come within a 10 hour radius, I’m there. That includes UK, UGA, USCe, Tenn, a little further but not by much Auburn, Bama, Vandy, and Florida. I’m planning to go for Mizz, UNO and UGA in BR at the end of April for a week long celebration of the big 5 - 0.

The easy solution to this is that all season tickets have to be at game 15 minutes before it starts or they can resell or give those tickets away
This is pretty stupid.

That is false they sold 13,000+ tickets included season general admission tickets. They could lead the attendance if they counted sold season tickets

Arkansas is standing room only every game. LSU may be selling more tickets but nobody packs em in like the Hogs.

Yeah I'm sure that midweek game against Grambling was standing room only.

If we are counting median BMI of those behind home plate we win, and it's not even close.
