test can measure the nanograms of THC per mL of blood. The general threshold for being legally intoxicated is 5 nanograms per mL of blood (for THC)
No, the issue is that THC stays in blood for a long time; you could’ve been stoned as Cheech&Chong yesterday or a week ago but totally sober today and test positive-
There’s no test to determine if you are CURRENTLY high rather than just recently used

Y’all need to put some respect on this man. I’ve never seen a poster with 2 posts be wrong.

He had to have been driving like a bat out of hell to be unresponsive after a crash on that road
Or his brakes were failing and he tried to do a Flintstones-type stop with his feet and his feet slipped. I saw my Dad (a 1950 LSU grad) actually do that to a 1950 Plymouth in the 1960s in Mobile (Crichton) at Prine's Service Station. (across from the Wagon Wheel restaurant on Spring Hill Ave). He downshifted into 1st gear (it was a three-speed manual) and then stuck his foot out the door and stopped it.
Never put it past an LSU grad to be innovative.

I am glad to hear he was breathing and in and out of consciousness. Prayers for a full recovery. God damn it

Got timestamps? Why should I believe that that picture wasn’t taken a month ago?

It’s amazing what people with lead themselves to believe based on what they don’t want to believe.
Bad wreck at 2:45 am. What the hell do you think caused it?

2:45 am is not a good sign. Prayers for the young man, regardless of the circumstances.

Nice pic of the bartender who served him too

Months ago he would have been 16 drinking at Murphys. Guess that’s better.

again, yes there is.

you would have traces of THC in your blood, but not in the same concentration as you would if you smoked an hour ago. That's where the toxicity of THC per mL of blood comes in.
They literally test blood for DUIs involving weed this way all the time. It's not simply a positive or negative drug screen like you take for a job. The concentration level are measured. That can be used, in court, to show whether someone was or wasn't impaired.
I'm sorry if you weren't aware these tests were used and/or existed but they most certainly are and do.

Can confirm he was drinking at Murphy’s on chimes directly before the incident. He was 100% drunk driving.
Take a damn Uber.

I don’t really give a shite if a college kid was taking shots at a bar. I do care if they were taking shots at a bar and then driving around campus. I mean either way it will be pretty easy to confirm if it’s true or not through tests and video footage from Murphy’s

The new Murphy's same as the old Murphy's.
How does Fred's avoid this rep?

Not to play devils advocate, but they check blood alcohol level at the hospital for crashes like this typically. If they say no intoxication is suspected, his BAC probably came back fine. Keep in mind the legal limit for underage is 0.
