Can confirm he was drinking at Murphy’s on chimes directly before the incident. He was 100% drunk driving.

I mean this whole board just crucified Kyren Lacy for driving recklessly. Hurley was likely doing that on a campus road. Of course we should wait to find out exactly what happened. But if he was driving recklessly on campus, he deserves to be criticized. That road is full of street crossings and sidewalks as it separates PFT, BEC, etc from those parking lots.

In light of the reporting that he was “breathing but unresponsive”, it’s more than likely they drew blood and ran toxicology tests…

If you think that is irrelevant, then the entire story is irrelevant as it then becomes just a random guy in a random wreck, which normally doesn't get news coverage.
It's a story and a headline, because he is an LSU football player, thus the added information.

Yea it's certainly possible, but I would think quite unlikely if he was going the 20 mph limit. Not to mention those trees on south quad are set back about a car lengths away from the edge of the road. There's obviously some details we aren't privy to at the moment

I've never had any interest in being a car salesman but a Dodge dealership in a college town sounds pretty lucrative.
