Riley will reCooperate in a day’s time

Johnson has a rule to not throw guys on BTB days if they hit a certain pitch count.

Cooper went over that tonight..

Jay said he had 9 available for today. So we have 7 for tomorrow.

So Coleman, Money, Herring, Guidry give you 9 innings tomorrow.

Then you have Skenes that can give you 6 innings on Thursday and that leaves several guys available to get you the rest of the way home.

In the Championship series you’ll have Floyd/Hurd that can go game 1 and if we can’t piece together a victory in game 2 bring Skenes back for the if necessary game 3 on 4 days rest for the championship. How sweet of an ending would that be?

PS would be the most legendary Tiger ever to only spend 1 season at LSU

That would be an AMAZING story after the way he struggled so badly his last couple of times up. I mean, Ack being as good as he was tonight and going that long was a bit of a surprise, but he’s actually been really solid when given the opportunity this season. Little hasn’t looked really on top of things for a while. I’m all for home becoming an LSU legend tomorrow or Thursday!

He’s pretty resilient, but yeah. He’s gone twice in the last 4 days. Best case- he can pitch a few innings on Thursday.

All my posts disappeared on pitching. I had Ack/Cooper/Herring (CRUSHED with downvotes) for tonight’s game and my posts are gone. Maybe they disappear with the scoreboard. So I’ll predict tomorrows game.

Wake is susceptible to inside breaking pitches, and breaking pitches in general.

As mentioned, if you throw someone like Guidry other than a match-up they could sit breaking pitch. He can’t throw that for a strike or they will jump the curve. That’s on Wes Johnson.

With that you have Coleman, who doesn’t have a lot of movement and has not pitched too much lately, and Money, Little and Herring and Collins who is more like Guidry.

I’m going Money, Herring and Guidry or Little…

Herring could easily give us 4-5 innings if he’s dealin.

Coleman has the upside to dominate, but struggles to throw strikes, and Guidry is good, but hasn't yet demonstrated the stamina to go very long. And with Herring, it's kind of all over the place. But someone needs to go some distance in this game, and it seems like Money might be our best bet, because he throws the most strikes out of any of those guys, and his propensity for giving up the long ball is greatly mitigated in this park.

So I kind of expect to see him start, and then it will be an inning by inning evaluation, just like with Ackenhausen. If he's on, leave him alone, if not, then you piece it together with everyone else.

Honestly if the wind is blowing in I’m not opposed to Money starting and seeing if he can give us a lineup rotation

Do you really think that Money is our best option? Why start Money when Coleman is available, or Herring. I get that you would rather use him than one of the pitchers who have struggled with control - I don’t agree with it - but why start him over pitchers who are much better?
