Dabo is saying that it is "total chaos", tampering everywhere and kids are being manipulated left and right.
I looks for others to speak up, but the NCAA is toothless.
Seems highly unlikely that Ala, A&M or Texas will be pointing fingers.

I would think there will be a big push to reinstate some kind of guardrails on the transfer portal. At minimum transferring within conference etc. I don't think it will get back to the sit out a year (I think they should) but College Football in my eyes died a bit on Wednesday. At least in the NFL there are contracts involved. Its literally chaos right now. Hey A&M didnt cheat they are openly paying players and admitting it. They operated within the rules to get better. But this model I think is unsustainable.

What does recruiting even matter when most schools will lose 50% off them within a year to the portal if their feelings are hurt or god forbid actually have to compete for a starting position on the field.

I was told it cant go wrong and its only fair for the kids.

Surely fans on a message board would know better.

I have to think that the NCAA is totally bought off for this to go unchecked as it has. Probably a lot of under the table payoffs to just ignore and look the other way. I’m sure it is the same story with the SEC offices in good ole Birmingham Alabama.

There are two issues here. NIL which the court has ruled on and transferring from school to school. There’s little the NCAA can do about NIL, but a lot they can do about transfer rules.

The NCAA is asking for congress to get involved. They arent going to do anything.

This is the norm going forward. Either play the NIL game or become irrelevant. Lsu is clearly behind.

all NIL really accomplished was legitimizing bag men

So the NCAA can’t do anything.

I don’t think anything is very clear except O, firing O and hiring a new coach put us behind.

The solution will start with SW.

No offense man, it's all very clear. Have you not been listening to coaches comments the last few days? Go read Andy staples or Bruce Feldman this week.

I respect what jimbo said on andy staples podcast yesterday. Nil has changed everything, and tamu took advantage of the new rules. It's very clear.

It was Congress and the Judicial System that forced the NCAA to allow payments. This is their mess. Do politicians ever help anything? Nothing they touch turns out for the better.

100% true - and expanded bag men to include players not sought after as much

As I suggested in another thread, the thought of Alabama hanging with Texas dollar for dollar is starting to become comical.

It was a brilliant run, but very soon it's going to be over.

College football is an entrenched American passion and tradition that exists in no other country. People care almost as much about 100% attendence and no mask restrictions for games as they do about going to the grocery store. Myself included so not casting aspersions. College football is a uniter of peoples, no matter what race/gender/political persuasion. The Globalist Elites understand this and are pressuring the NCAA through other bodies (like state governments and the Globalist-controlled media networks) to destroy college football. The NCAA sees what's happening, but they have little or no choice but to comply.

Could we possibly see an NCAA split that takes programs NOT wanting to have "open season" NIL and let the outliers do their own thing?

It does not resonate coming from that whining little bitch Dabo. Not that I disagree, but I tune him out because all he does is bitch all the time.

You’re exactly right, the corporations and companies that control TV want full control of the sport so they’re effectively buying every asset in the sport using the NIL to open that Avenue.
