Ehh, this post is mostly much ado about not very much.

The article ranks all SEC coaches, from most pressure to least pressure. If you read the article in reverse, Less is the fourth best coach in the SEC.

While that may be good news for the posi-Miles, it isn't good news for Real Tigers who aren't satisfied with fourth best (you can count me in that group).

LSU administrators tend to reflect the mentality of our fans. Stupid-arse satisfaction with mediocrity. Why LSU is so god-damned lenient with shitty coaches, and why our fans so blindly follow such moronic coaches, is beyond me. .

Calm down before you stroke out.

I suppose some don't see being in the Top 20 as an event that warrants running to the tallest building, jumping off, and screaming out that we are doomed on the way down. Shoot us.

You know, LSU didn't find itself housed in the mediocre 20 at the end of the season, but the Top 20 of all college teams. If you figure there are bout 120 teams out there like us, our ranking puts us at better than bout 87 percent of them. Not elite this year or great, but sure not mediocre either. imo

So it's not just the Tigers you despise, it's my state?
If it does sink into some said abyss, you'll be smothered.
You're in way deep dude.

If Miles goes 7-5 this season he is gone as a pecan can be.

It would take a 6-5 or worse record in 2010 for his seat to warm up.

My arse, he has an 8 win season this year and he is gone

Hey, who knows, but I haven't seen anything that would lead me to believe that to be a valid assumption.

I simply believe that when you look at the whole picture and take emotion out of the equation, he is here till 11.

6-6 is a real possibility this year.

Meyer is on the list because every coach in the SEC is on the list. It's a ranking of all 12 coaches from the hottest hot seat to the least.

I'm glad you understand how ridiculous this list is.

He better be history. We are paying Miles $4 million, 8-5 and 9-4 seaons just don't cut it when you're getting paid that much, much less 6-6.

WRONG!

Sorry but unless you just started watching football.. 9 win seasons and new years day bowls with frequent runs at conference titles and occasional runs at national titles....

IS QUITE SIMPLY GOOD ENOUGH....

Anyone who know anything about football understands this!

Unless your team has more than enough talent to actually WIN conference and national titles, rather than just make frequent and/or occasional runs at them.

Anyone who knows anything about football should understand this.

only people that believe that are dumbfricks and miles lovers.

you can believe the number of miles supporters are dwindling by the day , and there are basically no crowton supporters to be found not counting miles. well, there could poosibly be one or two. probably more dumbfricks by the hour

How would you like to sit next to Nuts4lsu at a game? You notice he says he lives in D.C. Talk about a "glass half empty" that dudes barely gotta drop.

Did you read the fricking list idiot?

quote:

A hot seat isn't always what the media makes it out to be. When a coach is on the proverbial hot seat, usually it means he needs to win now or he'll be fired, but it could also mean a lot more. It could mean a coach needs to start winning because he's under pressure (Mark Richt), but isn't under real threat of being fired. It could mean he's winning, but is in an impossible situation and can't afford a slip (Jim Tressel after last year's loss to Purdue). Or it could mean he needs to win big just because he does (Urban Meyer).

So keeping in mind that for this, Hot Seat doesn't necessarily mean win-or-get-fired and it's more about who's under a lot of pressure (and yeah, in some cases it is a win-or-else situation), here's the ranking of the all 120 coaches and where they fit in on the warm butt scale.

quote:

Urban Meyer, Florida Being on the hot seat isn’t just about the idea of being fired, Meyer will never get canned, it’s also about the pressure a coach is under. For Meyer, who has two national titles under his belt and three 13-1 seasons in the last four, it’s national-title-or-bust from here on considering the talent level he has amassed. The expectations aren’t unrealistic, but they’re impossibly unfair (even for Florida). Status: Throw the health issues into the equation and no coach in America has the combination of things Meyer has to deal with.

I put the important things in bold for you, dumbass. That way, you can read them and only spend half an hour reading it. I am sure the entire passage would take you until your bedtime.
