Met got better as the season went along. Some of the Rantards said Slinger and Eaux could not develop QB's. I wonder what happened?

Joe Burrow Ends UCF's Streak, Throws Hat into Early 2019 Heisman Ring

However, the postgame/preseason chatter should now revolve around Burrow as a dark horse in next year's Heisman race.

All four of his touchdowns came on strikes from at least 20 yards away. He was on pace for approximately 500 yards at that point and probably should have broken the Fiesta Bowl records for passing yards (451) and touchdowns (five). However, the Tigers turned to the ground game to salt away the clock for much of the second half.

In addition to that quartet, freshman WR Terrace Marshall Jr. didn't do much this season, but the consensus 5-star recruit is an obvious candidate for a sophomore leap. And while Texas Tech transfer Jonathan Giles had a tough debut year in the bayou, he had 1,158 receiving yards in 2016 and could be poised for a big comeback campaign.

I don't think a single person here believes that this is possible

Tiger Ree, thanks for the article. Has there been any concern in the Athletic administration that Slinger had 8 quarters to score a single point against Bama and has failed to do so?

If that is the case, why didn't he "speak up" when we were mired in an almost a decades worth of QB ineptitude while he piddled around with TEs.

Is this the part where we pretend that all progress stops when a football player comes to LSU?

Burrow is tough and talented no doubt. I will be curious to see what he could do behind an oline that doesn't make him run for his life the entire game. keep in mind he was under pressure all season and still looked decent. He was on fire last 2 games. I'm more impressed by his composure and not seemingly getting rattled when he gets his clock cleaned out.

Its the part where we don’t crown Slinger for a 4th year QB from one of the best offenses in the country throwing well on Rice.

People wouldn’t give Les credit for net whi soent 1 season at UGA and 3 at LSU but Tiger Ree wants to pump Slinger for a QB who spend 3 years at Ohio stats and 6 months at LSU.

The guy gives a positive message concerning LSU football and you consider that trolling?

You're the one that sounds miserable.
